This trip has a very metaphysical focus, and people have reported emotional clearing and the shifting of consciousness. Many people have opened to their natural abilities and empowered and taken action in every area of their lives. Sinai Open Sky Retreat is a holistic and soul recharging trip to the Sinai. It combines the desert and coastal environments, which provide perfect and tranquil environment for Yoga and meditation highly, experienced Yoga teachers will lead all Yoga, and meditation workshops, focusing on body, mind and spirit. You will be based partly in Dahab, practicing Yoga overlooking the Gulf of Aqaba, and partly in the desert, experiencing Yoga in a most inspiring setting. The desert houses some awesome natural plateaus smoothed and eroded by the wind, seemingly especially for Yoga practice.
Day 1: Arrivals at Cairo airport meet & assist by our representative. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: Long session meditation in The Great Pyramid, hydrotherapy treatments at spa and opportunity to buy the original Lotus perfumes, which was dressed by the ancient Egyptians. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 3: Early morning after breakfast, drive from Cairo to Sarabit El Khadem one of the places in the desert where the Pharaohs were mining turquoise., via the Suez Canal tunnel, stopping at Hammam pharaoh (Pharaoh `s bath, Sulphur Springs) then visit The Temple of Hathor (the Goddess of love and joy). Lunch on route. Continue Saint Catherine. Overnight in Saint Catherine.
Day 4: Breakfast at your hotel. Early morning trek to reach the amazing Sunrise on Moses Mountain. Visit St. Catherine Monastery, at midnight climbing the Mount Moses and witnessing the breathtaking sunrise from the top.
Day 5: Breakfast, visiting the Monastery of Saint Catherine, transfer to Dahab. Overnight in Dahab.
Day 6, 7, 8: All your days in Dahab have a dynamic flow Yoga, powerful breathing, Meditation and evenings filled with laughter and dancing. A wonderful experience and a memorable holiday. Dahab itself has grown out of a seventies resort and has managed to keep its bohemian atmosphere. It is excellent for snorkeling, diving, windsurfing and camel trekking, or for just "chilling out". There will usually be two yoga classes per day (one day free) with meditation often included. There will also be the unique opportunity to:
• swim with a dolphin not in captivity
• snorkel and dive in one of the most stunning coral reefs in the world - 'try dives' available
• spend a night in the mountains on a yoga safari with the Bedouins
• go horse back riding in the deserts and mountains on well cared for Arabian horses.
Day 9: Breakfast at your Hotel. Drive back to Cairo. Transfer to your Hotel. Overnight in Cairo
Day 10: Check Out after breakfast. Transfer to Cairo international Airport for final departure
