Tour Itinerary

10 Days Overland Tour Package itinerary

Day 1: Entry into Egypt: When you arrive at Cairo Airport, a representative from our company will be there to help you through the passport and baggage screening processes. Then he will drive you to a contemporary, privately cooled hotel in Cairo to check-in.

Your tour guide will accompany you on a dinner cruise in the evening where you may take in some traditional Egyptian performances, including Tannoura displays and folk dance and singing. Then go back to your hotel to spend the night.

Day 2: Visit the Pyramids of the Ancient Egyptians: After breakfast, start your private Egyptologist tour guide’s Cairo, Aswan, Luxor, and Hurghada trips with some of the most well-known landmarks in the world, including:

Giza Pyramids Complex

The Giza Pyramids Complex, which is located on the Giza Plateau, was one of the first places where the glory of the Pharaohs could be seen. It is made up of six lesser pyramids in addition to the three larger ones: Cheops/Khufu, Chephren/Khafre, and Menkaure.

The Great Pyramid

The Great Pyramid was constructed in the 4th dynasty, during the reign of King Khufu (2589–2566 BCE). It is one of the tallest hand-made structures in ancient history (146 m), and because of its enormous scale, it is considered one of the seven wonders of the world.

It is made out of more than 2 million stone blocks and served in the past as King Khufu’s hallowed tomb.

The Great Sphinx

It is one of the largest sculptures in the world and is from the fourth dynasty. It depicts a lion’s body with a human head bearing King Chephren’s visage. About 100 people worked over three years to cut it out of a sizable chunk of limestone.

The Valley Temple

It is situated on the Giza Plateau, which was primarily built as a hub for mummification. The Valley Temple was constructed from enormous granite slabs that had been fashioned from diorite.

After eating lunch at the Pyramids/Nile View restaurant, go on to the following destinations:

The Step Pyramid of Saqqara

It was built during the time of King Djoser, who governed Egypt in the 27th century B.C. and is regarded as the oldest significant example of cut stone architecture. The step pyramid is made up of 6 steps that are stacked on top of one another and are 62 meters tall.

City of Memphis

It was the first capital of Egypt, established by King Menes. It was situated in a key area between Upper and Lower Egypt. Ptah, the creator deity and guardian of art was said to be watching over Memphis.

Finally, we return you to your hotel, where you will spend the night.

Day 3: Fly to Aswan and see the city’s top attractions.

Before we get you up and take you to the Cairo Airport to travel to Aswan, have breakfast, and check out of the hotel. Your private tour guide will meet you at the airport and accompany you as you begin your tour of the top sights in Aswan, which will include:

The High Dam

The High Dam, which is around 3830 meters long and 111 meters high, is located in the far south of Egypt. Its construction was primarily necessary since it shielded Egypt from the yearly floods of the Nile River, which destroyed the farms and crops. Therefore, it has a significant beneficial impact on the Egyptian economy.

The Unfinished Obelisk

With a weight of 1200 tonnes and a length of 42 meters, it is the largest obelisk ever carved in ancient Egypt. During the 18th dynasty, Queen Hatshepsut (1478–1458) constructed it. Since that time, the rulers have built temples and obelisks beside them for religious reasons. The skill of the Ancient Egyptians in carving and sculpting is on show in this unfinished obelisk.

Temple of Philae

The most amazing Nubian monument was created as a place of adoration for the goddess Isis. Before UNESCO moved the temple from Philae Island to Agilika Island, it was in grave danger due to the Nile floods. The temple’s rocks bear the imprints of the Pharaohs, Byzantines, Greeks, and Romans.

You will be fed lunch at the Nile View Restaurant before being transferred to a 5-star hotel to check in and stay the night.

Day 4: Visit Abu Simbel: Early in the morning, after receiving your breakfast boxes and having your tour guide with you, you will begin your explorations of Upper Egypt by visiting:

Abu Simbel Temples

The “Abu Simbel Temples” include two magnificent temples built by King Ramses II, one for himself as a worship center for Amun Ra, the Sun God, and the other for his lovely wife, Queen Nefertiti, as a pilgrimage center for the goddess Hathor. These structures are among the most impressive ones built by the pharaohs in Ancient Egypt. The Abu Simbel Temples enjoy a beautiful view since they are located right on the Nile River’s banks.

Return to Aswan, where lunch will be provided before being driven to the railway station to board a first-class train for Luxor. Check into a 5-star hotel when you arrive for the night.

Day 5: Visit the East Bank of Luxor: Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. We’ll pick you up to begin your trip to Cairo, Aswan, Luxor, and Hurghada, which also includes the East Bank of the Nile.

Karnak Temple

In one of the most famous temples in history, the “Karnak Temples” in Luxor, follow the path to the grandeur and learn the mysteries of ancient Egyptian history. Insert I, who ruled Egypt’s Middle Kingdom in the 18th dynasty, oversaw the building of the Karnak Temple, which was completed during the Ptolemaic Period. The temple was created for religious reasons, like the majority of temples during this time. It served as a significant location for the worship of Amun and the god of Thebes.

Enjoy your lunch at a restaurant with a view of the Nile, then return to your accommodation to rest up before moving on later that day to see:

Temple of Luxor

Take a visit to the Luxor Temple in Egypt in the evening and marvel at the magnificent remains of the pharaohs. The Amenhotep III-and-Tutankhamun-built temple was primarily utilized to celebrate the yearly Opet Festival and the most notable religious rituals.

Then return to your hotel to spend the night.

Day 6: Visit Luxor’s West Bank: After completing your breakfast and checking out of the hotel, your private tour guide will accompany you as you continue your journey to Luxor by seeing the West Bank, which will include:

The Kings’ Valley

The construction of the Valley of the Kings was a continuation of the Pharaohs’ belief in an afterlife. The major reason the Valley of the Monarchs was built by the forefathers was as royal tombs for their kings. These subterranean tombs included the furnishings, riches, and jewels that the deceased monarch would need in the afterlife.

Temple of Hatshepsut

The 18th dynasty saw the construction of the temple, which was made for Queen Hatshepsut and was recognized as one of Egypt’s most magnificent buildings. The entrance to the temple has a lengthy walk and offers a panoramic view. As a place of worship and a religious center, it played a crucial role in Ancient Egypt. The paintings and sculptures that decorate its walls beautifully depict daily life in Ancient Egypt.

Memnon’s Colossi

Western Luxor is home to two enormous massive sitting sculptures of King Amenhotep III, who reigned during the 18th dynasty. Each monument is 18 meters tall and weighs 720 tonnes. The two sculptures show a seated monarch sitting on a throne adorned with portraits of his mother, wife, and the deity Happy.

After lunch is provided at an oriental restaurant, guests will be driven to Hurghada in a private air-conditioned vehicle. After arriving, go to a 5-star hotel to settle in for the night.

Day 7: Go to Hurghada City: After breakfast, continue your tour of Cairo, Aswan, Luxor, and Hurghada by taking advantage of everything the city has to offer, such as swimming in the water, lounging in the sun on gorgeous beaches, and enjoying soft drinks and fresh cuisine, and much more.

Day 8: Enjoy a free day in Hurghada: Get lost on a free excursion to explore Hurghada on your own.

Day 9: A tour of Old Cairo from Hurghada to Cairo: Before we collect you up to take you to the airport for your trip back to Cairo, have breakfast, and check out of the hotel. Meet your tour guide when you get there to go to:

The Egyptian Museum

the location of many ancient Egyptian treasures, including over 165,000 pharaonic items from different eras of Egyptian history. The priceless possessions and jewels of King Tutankhamun are also kept at the Egyptian Museum. The Royal Mummy Room, which costs extra but houses the epoch-defining mummies of ancient Egyptian pharaohs, is connected to the museum.

Enjoy lunch at a top-notch Cairo restaurant before concluding your day’s sightseeing there by going to:

Citadel of Salah El Din

Salah El-Din, the ruler of the Ayyubid Empire, built Salah El Din Citadel, also known as the ” Cairo Fortification,” between 1176 and 1183 BCE. The fortress served as Cairo and Fustat’s initial line of defense against Crusader assaults.

Mosque of Mohamed Ali

The Cairo Citadel is connected to the Muhammad Ali Mosque, which was built in the 19th century. It was built in honor of Tusun Pasha, the eldest son of Mohammed Ali. Pure alabaster was used to construct the mosque in the Ottoman architectural style.

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) is a trip through time and space where visitors may learn about Egypt’s fascinating history and culture while admiring some of the most unique structures and artifacts ever produced.

Market in Khan El Khalili

Renew your spirit with a breathtaking tour of the Old Cairo scenery, and spend a fantastic time in Khan El Khalili Bazaar exploring the marketplaces, purchasing treasured trinkets, relaxing at the neighborhood cafés and restaurants, and sampling Egyptian cuisine.
