3 Days White Desert and Black Desert Camping from Cairo itinerary
Day 1: Cairo – Bahariya – White Desert: Time:
Pick-up time: 7:00 am.
Stop At Bahariya (Bahereya) Oasis, Bawiti, Giza Governorate:
In the morning, a departure from your address in Cairo (hotel, airport, station, home,… etc) (Please advise pick up location). Depart by 4×4 Jeep to Bahariya and onto the White Desert.
Visit the Black Desert and the dune area, and then climb a 50-meter dune. Lunch in El Heiz Oasis. On the route to Farafra, we visit Crystal Mountain, the area of the wonders with the desert roses. We then visit El
Akabat before heading to the White Desert. We start exploring the formations and wind-carved sculptors. In the evening, we have a barbecue dinner and sleep in tents under the stars. Duration: 6 hours Stop At White Desert Camp Safari, Bawiti, Giza Governorate White Desert National Park is a national park in Egypt, first established as a protected area in 2002. It is located in the Farafra depression, 45km north of the town of Farafra. Part of the park is in the Farafra Oasis (New Valley Governorate).
The park is the site of large white chalk rock formations, created through erosion by wind and sand. It is also the site of cliffs (at the northern end of the Farafra Depression), dunes (part of the Great Sand Sea), as well as Wadi Hennis and oases at Ain El Maqfi and Ain El Wadi.
The highest point in the park is at El Qess Abu Said (353 m above sea level) and the lowest is at Wadi Hennis (32m). The park serves as the refuge for various animals, including the endangered Rhim gazelle and the vulnerable Dorcas gazelle, as well as Barbary sheep; jackals; Rüppell’s, Red, and Fennec foxes; and Sand cats.

Day 2: White Desert – Magic Spring:
Stop At Bahariya (Bahereya) Oasis, Bawiti, Giza Governorate:
After breakfast, we depart off-road to the magic spring, then to Ain Khadra where we have our lunch before continuing to Santa Tree (magic tree). We conclude by visiting a white desert cave and Akabat of Farafra (Tower Mountains).
In the evening, we have a barbeque dinner and sleep in tents under the stars.
