The Giza Pyramids Complex has existed for 4000 years making it one of the oldest monuments in the world. The Giza complex consists of three main pyramids, six little pyramids, the great sphinx, and the house of immortal preservation the valley temple.

The Great Pyramid of Khufu is a miracle waiting to be unfolded as the last intact structure of the seven wonders of the ancient world, it was constructed in 2580 BC in 20 years using 2,300,000 pieces of limestone blocks each weighing 2.5 tons and a workforce of 100,000 free skilled workers to make it reach the height of 147 m (481 ft) which made it the tallest building in the world.

The Great Sphinx is a mysterious warrior from above that comes in the shape of a mythical creature called the sphinx which has the body of a lion and the head of a man who is believed to be King Khafre to showcase his immortal power and wisdom.

The sphinx is at the height of 73 m (240 ft) and 19 m (66 ft) and was carved out of single limestone rock and still surrounded by great mystery since its construction in the old kingdom(2686 2134 BC).

The Valley Temple: The Valley Temple was constructed within Egypt’s Old Kingdom with a plex to reform the mummification process, it is one of the best-preserved archeological sites of the ancient Egyptian civilization and the source of important information and details about the mummification of ancient Egypt The valley is made of limestone, granite and holds amazing diorite statues of king Khafre.

You will then have your lunch at a pyramid, Nile view restaurant, then move to visit:-

The Egyptian Museum: The Egyptian Museum is a divine home of beauty and wonder as it contains the largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts and monuments in the world dating back to more than 4000 years across.

Inside the two-story building are over 150,000 artifacts made from extravagant materials like gold, silver & gemstones ordinary ones like wood or stone that come in the shape of statues, and funerary objects like the treasures of King Tutankhamun, the Narmer palette, Papyrus, several mummies and countless others.

Day 3: Fly to Aswan – Visit Aswan Top Attractions: Enjoy a pleasant breakfast and check out from your hotel and head to Cairo airport to catch your flight to Aswan, upon arrival join your tour guide to visit some of Aswan’s tourist attractions starting by:

Aswan High Dam is somewhat a modern attraction constructed between 1960 & 1970 during the reign of President Gamal Adel-Nasser. The dam was designed as a cooperation project with the Moscow-based Hydro Project Institute to have better control over Nile floods, generate Hydroelectricity, and provide increased water storage for irrigation in its reservoir lake Nasser unfortunately, it was the cause of the possible destruction of Abu Simbel and Philae temples.

The unfinished obelisk is a pillar from the heavens created by Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC) to stand at the entrance of the Karnak temple, it was known as “Tekhenu” which means to pierce the sky” and showcases how obelisks were crafted from scratch and the method of constructions of ancient Egypt. It reached a height of 42 m and weighed 1200 tons. Unfortunately, the obelisk was cracked during the construction and remained at the same location even today.

You will enjoy your lunch at an outstanding restaurant in Aswan and get ready to visit:

Philea temple is a tale from the past showcasing the ” Myth of Osiris” which entails the husband of Isis “Osiris” Is killed by his brother Set out of pure hatred & envy then Osiris is resurrected to be the ruler of the underworld afterward Set is defeated by Isis and Osiris Son Hours, the sky God thus launching a new age of peace, prosperity, and justice.

The temple was relocated in the 60s as a part of a rescue mission led by UNESCO after the construction of the Aswan High Dam.

You will check in at the 5* hotel in Aswan to spend your overnight.

Day 4: Tour to the Temples of Abu Simbel: Early morning, you will be transferred with your breakfast boxes by a modern Air-Conditioned vehicle to visit the most historical archaeological site in Egypt which is:

The great Abu Simbel temple is the final gate to Egypt & the guardian of the southern border since its creation by King Ramses II (1279-1213 BCE) during Egypt’s new kingdom (1570-1050 BC) to immortalize his legacy till eternity.

Abu Simbel is made up of two temples, the massive one is for Ramses where the sun festival takes place on the 22 of February & October of each year when the sun shines on the faces of the four seated statues of Ramses II, Ptah (God of creation), Amun (The Creator God), and Ra (Sun God), the smaller temple is dedicated to his beloved wife Queen Nefertari.

The temple was part of a rescue mission referred to as the most challenging archeological rescue operation in history led by UNESCO in the mid-60s.
