Giza Pyramids Complex

The Great Sphinx, the Valley Temple, six smaller pyramids, and three smaller pyramids make up the complex. The structure is 2400 years old, from the 4th dynasty.

The Great Pyramid

The only preserved pyramid among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, it is the oldest and biggest of the three pyramids on the Giza plateau. Additionally, “King Khufu” owns it. The Great Pyramid is 147 meters high, was erected over 20 years, and 2,300,000 stones were utilized in its construction.

The Great Sphinx

“King Chephren” owns the Great Sphinx. With dimensions of 73 meters long, 19 meters wide, and 20 meters high, it is the biggest statue in the world. The monument has the earliest known sculpture in it.

The Valley Temple

There is just one extant ancient Egyptian granite funerary temple on the Giza plateau, and it was used for mummification.

Proceed to the Pyramids / Nile View restaurant for lunch, and then go on with your Cairo and Nile Cruise vacations by visiting:

Step Pyramid of Saqqara

It was built during the time of King Djoser, who governed Egypt in the 27th century B.C. and is regarded as the oldest significant example of cut stone architecture. The 62-meter-tall Saqqara step pyramid is made up of six steps that are erected on top of one another.

City of Memphis

The first capital of all of Egypt established by King Menes, it had a key location between Upper and Lower Egypt. Ptah, the creator deity and guardian of art, was said to be watching over Memphis.

Finally, we return you to your hotel where you may spend the night.

Day 3: Visit the landmarks of Alexandria: Following breakfast in the morning, take a drive to Alexandria in an air-conditioned automobile with a private tour guide to see the following sites:

Kom El Shoqafa’s catacombs

a Roman cemetery where a family tomb exhibits the fusion of Roman and Egyptian design. To see the tomb and Caracalla Hall, go underneath.

Return to the surface and continue your visit:

Pompey’s Pillar

a 25-meter-tall (82-foot) granite column erected as a monument to Emperor Diocletian, who liberated the besieged city and provided food for its hungry citizens.

Citadel of Qaitbay

On the Mediterranean seashore, a castle from the fifteenth century. In the year 1477, Sultan Al-Ashraf Qa’it Bay founded it. In the same location as Pharos Island lies the Qaitbay Citadel.

You will have lunch at a seafood restaurant before concluding your tour of Alexandria by going to:

Alexandria Library

The library is one of the world’s greatest literary institutions since it has copies of every book ever written. The Alexandria Library also has several displays of Egyptian history as well as a collection of priceless old books.

We will return you to your hotel in Cairo for the night after the day.

Day 4: Fly to Aswan and see the highlights of Aswan: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, check out, and then take a flight to Aswan to continue your Cairo and Nile Cruise vacations. Begin by seeing the following Aswan tourist attractions:

The High Dam

It was erected over the Nile River at Aswan between 1960 and 1970, and its construction had a tremendous impact on Egypt’s economy and culture.

The Unfinished Obelisk

the biggest obelisk from antiquity. It was acquired by the Lateran Palace in Rome after being commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut (1508 1458 BC) to match the Karnak Obelisk, which was originally at Karnak.

Temple of Philae

Goddess Isis of Love and Beauty is honored in the Philae Temple. As part of the UNESCO Nubia Campaign initiative, the temple complex was disassembled and moved to the adjacent island of Agilkia Island to safeguard it and other sites before the Aswan High Dam was finished in 1970.

Transfer to a 5* luxury Nile cruise to check in at the end of the day so you may have lunch and spend the night there.

Day 5: Explore the Abu Simbel Temples: Breakfast boxes first thing in the morning, then follows your tour guide to see Abu Simbel Temple, one of the most important historical sites on earth:

Abu Simbel Temples

The two Temples of Abu Simbel are regarded as the pinnacles of Ancient Egypt due to their distinctive architecture. Both of the Temples were erected during the time of King Ramses II about 1200 B.C., and both are rock-cut constructions. King Ramses II is honored in one temple, while his loving wife Queen Nefertari is honored in another. Both temples are beautifully decorated with sculptures and artwork. This temple is a must-see since it has hand-carved pillars, wall paintings, sculptures, statues, and much more.

After lunch, go back to your ship to spend the night.

Day 6: Explore the Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples: Sailing to Kom Ombo, stop by:

Temple of Kom Ombo

a temple with a view of the Nile. The Kom Ombo Temple is split into two separate temples, each having its entrance, a hypo-style hall, and shrines.

Continue your journey to:

Temple in Edfu

Honoring the god Horus. The Edfu Temple is the most well-preserved Greco-Roman structure in all of Egypt, and a “Play” depicting Horus’ victory over the malevolent deity Seth is painted on its walls.

Sail to Luxor after eating lunch aboard the cruise, arriving late at night, and spending the night on board.

Day 7: Visit Luxor East Bank landmarks: Enjoy your breakfast and disembark the ship. Your tour guide will next accompany you to many Luxor tourist landmarks, including the following:

After lunch, go to check in at a 5-star hotel in Luxor. In the evening, continue to visit:

Luxor Temple by Night

The most significant event, the festival of Opet, was centered on the Temple of Luxor. The temple aimed to serve as a venue for the festival’s ceremonies, and it was mostly built by Amenhotep III and Rameses II. The purpose of the event was to bring the ruler’s divine and human halves closer together.

The tombs were fully furnished with everything a monarch may want in the afterlife in terms of material things. The majority of the tomb decorations are still in good condition.

Temple of Hatshepsut

Memnon’s Colossi

What People Say About Us
5/5

Thank you Egypt Fun Tours for a most memorable trip. I admit I didn’t do any of the planning (it was all done by my boyfriend) but as you can read in the reviews below Hani (the owner of Egypt Fun Tours) is superbly organized and accommodating with scheduling.

My boyfriend and I, and our dearest mutual friend, booked the 7Days-6Nights tour. In short time, we visited Cairo, Aswan, and Luxor sailing down the down the Nile, pit stopping to see key sites at these location – and so much more!!! We got to know the ancient and modern egypt in depth thanks to Hani’s impressive knowledge. He also enlightened us on the people and their beliefs and went as far as showing us what a typical life looks like. I cannot express the level of personalized service Hani offered us. He was flexible to adapt to our requirements and added sites to our schedule that was not part of the tour simply to ensure we were 100% satisfied with our experience in Egypt.

I went to Egypt practically blind-folded, not knowing what to expect, especially considering the time we had decided to go (December 2020 – we were the first group that Hani met with after months of having to put his tour agency on hold considering the pandemic) yet he managed to surpass all of our expectations. I felt so incredibly lucky for us to have stumbled on Hani. I would recommend Egypt Fun Tours to anyone and everyone. It was truly, HANDS DOWN, the best cultural experience I’ve ever had. You’ll be in the best of hands.

Hamada was incredible! So knowledgeable and kind. He had information about every item, street corner, and relic we looked at. Any questions we had, he had answers! He even made sure to give us tips while walking through the crowds so that’s we would feel more comfortable when being approached by vendors. Oh and the food?! He took us to the best places! Delicious food!! We tried Egyptian fried chicken, falafel for the first time, the best shawarma in the city (we love food). We even got to meet his beautiful wife and children and try some “French” Egyptian coffee in their home! Truly made friends for life!! We’ve promised to host him and the family when they travel to America for the first time! Such an incredible experience, and Hamada (and family) made it that much more memorable and amazing!

Excellent trip to historic sites with no one else around. We came to see Egypt while most places still had COVID19 fears. The staff at Egypt Fun Tours were professional, safe, and great to deal with. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and entertaining. I feel like I just got a a year of Egyptology in the last week and we had all the sites to ourselves due to COVID19. While people are shutting down and staying home you should feel safe to come explore with Egypt Fun Tours and have the place to yourself.
