Tour Itinerary

Detailed itinerary of the 5 Days Cairo Tour Package

Day 1: Fly into Egypt and take a dinner cruise: pon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, a representative from “Egypt Fun Tours” will welcome you to the land of the pharaohs. Your tour guide will take you to a five-star hotel in Cairo where you may check in after your representative helps you with all of your formalities and baggage identification.

Your tour guide will take you to experience the greatest supper aboard a highly-rated Nile cruise in the evening, followed by the best local entertainment, belly dance, and musical concerts in a distinctive unmatched ambiance. This will be the start of your first steps in Egypt. You will then go back to your hotel.

Day 2: Visit the Saqqara region and the Giza Pyramids: After waking up and eating breakfast, your private tour guide will drive you to the top historical sites in Giza, including the following:

Giza Pyramids Complex: It is the most spectacular of the legacies left by Ancient Egypt that were created under the rule of the 4th dynasty. The three fabled pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Menkaure are the most recognizable distinguishing features of the Giza Pyramids Complex, also known as the “Giza Necropolis,” which is situated over the Giza Plateau.

The Great Pyramid: The highest building in the ancient world for more than 2000 years, it is the biggest pyramid on the Giza Plateau. Dedicated to Pharaoh Khufu, who ruled Egypt during the 4th dynasty, the Great Pyramid (147 m) is made out of 2,300,000 stone pieces.

The Great Sphinx: To Pharaoh Chephren, it is the Giza Pyramids Complex’s bodyguard that is portrayed. The Sphinx is an extremely enormous limestone sculpture that is 73 m tall, 20 m high, and 19 m broad. Its human head and lion body were sculpted as a symbol of sternness and knowledge.

The Valley Temple: It is a granite mortuary temple that is part of the Giza Complex. It was primarily used for ceremonial cleansing and mummification, as well as serving as a place of worship for the royal rites.

After being transported to a fine dining establishment for lunch, you will proceed to see:

Step Pyramid of Saqqara: King Djoser built the very first step pyramid ever built in the history of the planet. The Saqqara Step Pyramid, which has six steps and rises 203 feet, was built under the rule of the 3rd dynasty to serve as the royal burial of the pharaoh.

City of Memphis: The first capital of Egypt, Memphis, was referred to as the “White Wall” because of the house of the monarch, which was constructed of whitewashed stones. It was formerly believed that “Memphis” was a Greek term that translated to “Men-never” in the ancient Egyptian language, which stood for steady and lovely.

We’ll take you back to your hotel so you may stay the night.

Day 3: A Spectacular Trip to Old Cairo: After breakfast, your knowledgeable tour guide will lead you to the most popular Cairo attractions, such as:

The Egyptian Museum: The Egyptian Museum is home to an outstanding display of more than 250,000 royal artifacts and artifacts dating back more than three thousand years. In addition to hundreds of other artifacts and jewels, the museum houses the legendary collection of the Great King Tutankhamun.

After having lunch at a top-notch neighborhood eatery, you’ll go to:

Mosque of Amr Ibn Al Ass: The famous Islamic leader Amr Ibn Al Aas, who brought Islam to Egypt, commissioned and finished the construction of the Amr Ibn Al-Aas mosque in 640 AD, making it the earliest Islamic building in Africa.

The Hanging Church: One of the most well-known Christian tourist destinations is the Hanging Church, which dates back to the ninth century. However, it is thought that the Hanging Church was the earliest Coptic site in all of Egypt when it was a church in the third century AD.

Synagogue of Ben Ezra: The Ben Ezra Synagogue, built in the ninth century and hidden away in the Old Cairo lanes, is the oldest Jewish location in Egypt. After the majority of the Jewish population left Egypt in the 1950s, the location became a popular tourist destination.

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization: The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) is a technologically sophisticated organization that presents Egypt’s historical and cultural treasures in the best possible light. It is the first museum in the Arab world and North Africa that specializes in the more than 4,000-year-old ancient Egyptian Civilization and all of its varied and rich historical eras.

Market in Khan El Khalili: Let’s go shopping at the oldest market in the Middle East, where you can find a wide range of products, including clothing, trinkets, fragrances, and more.

For the night, you will be returned to your hotel.

Day 4: Highlights of a Visit to Islamic Cairo: After breakfast at the hotel, your expert Egyptologist will accompany you as you tour Cairo’s most notable Islamic landmarks, including:

Citadel of Salah El Din: Salah EL Din Ayyubid ordered the construction of the magnificent Cairo Citadel to defend Cairo from Crusader invasion. The building of the fortress had begun in 1176 AD and was finished in 1182 AD.

Mosque of Mohamed Ali: To construct his alabaster mosque, one of Cairo’s most iconic Islamic monuments, between 1830 and 1848, Muhammed Ali opted to destroy the Mamluk-era structures in the Cairo Citadel.

Eat lunch at a respectable neighborhood eatery before visiting:

Mosque of Sultan Hassan: The 14th-century Sultan Hassan Mosque, located in El Darb El Ahmar in the center of the city, is unquestionably the best specimen of Mamluk architecture. The building’s enormous size just adds to its amazingness. However, the majority of its tourists are awed by its magnificent architecture.

Mosque of Al Rifai: One of the finest specimens of Islamic architecture, Al Rifa’i Mosque is situated across from Sultan Hassan Mosque. Construction began in 1819 and was finished in 1912.

After the transfer, spend the night at your hotel.

Day 5: Finish your 5 Days Cairo Tour Package and return home: After breakfast, check out and then be transported to Cairo International Airport to catch your flight home to conclude your five-day trip to Cairo.

What People Say About Us
5/5

Thank you Egypt Fun Tours for a most memorable trip. I admit I didn’t do any of the planning (it was all done by my boyfriend) but as you can read in the reviews below Hani (the owner of Egypt Fun Tours) is superbly organized and accommodating with scheduling.

My boyfriend and I, and our dearest mutual friend, booked the 7Days-6Nights tour. In short time, we visited Cairo, Aswan, and Luxor sailing down the down the Nile, pit stopping to see key sites at these location – and so much more!!! We got to know the ancient and modern egypt in depth thanks to Hani’s impressive knowledge. He also enlightened us on the people and their beliefs and went as far as showing us what a typical life looks like. I cannot express the level of personalized service Hani offered us. He was flexible to adapt to our requirements and added sites to our schedule that was not part of the tour simply to ensure we were 100% satisfied with our experience in Egypt.

I went to Egypt practically blind-folded, not knowing what to expect, especially considering the time we had decided to go (December 2020 – we were the first group that Hani met with after months of having to put his tour agency on hold considering the pandemic) yet he managed to surpass all of our expectations. I felt so incredibly lucky for us to have stumbled on Hani. I would recommend Egypt Fun Tours to anyone and everyone. It was truly, HANDS DOWN, the best cultural experience I’ve ever had. You’ll be in the best of hands.

Nille cruise,Luxor and Aswan where amazing sites to see, specially when you have with you the best tour guide in Egypt .Hamada was absolutely fantastic, lots of information and some of them not spoken by others. This guy was not only a simple tour guide for us, he became a good friend also. Was a one in lifetime experience. Highly recommend Fun Tours. Really a great experience.

Hamada was incredible! So knowledgeable and kind. He had information about every item, street corner, and relic we looked at. Any questions we had, he had answers! He even made sure to give us tips while walking through the crowds so that’s we would feel more comfortable when being approached by vendors. Oh and the food?! He took us to the best places! Delicious food!! We tried Egyptian fried chicken, falafel for the first time, the best shawarma in the city (we love food). We even got to meet his beautiful wife and children and try some “French” Egyptian coffee in their home! Truly made friends for life!! We’ve promised to host him and the family when they travel to America for the first time! Such an incredible experience, and Hamada (and family) made it that much more memorable and amazing!

Excellent trip to historic sites with no one else around. We came to see Egypt while most places still had COVID19 fears. The staff at Egypt Fun Tours were professional, safe, and great to deal with. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and entertaining. I feel like I just got a a year of Egyptology in the last week and we had all the sites to ourselves due to COVID19. While people are shutting down and staying home you should feel safe to come explore with Egypt Fun Tours and have the place to yourself.
