Tour Itinerary

Detailed itinerary of the 7 Days of Honeymoon Discovering The Wonders of Egypt

Day 1: Arrival at Cairo Airport.

Your journey will start the moment you set foot in Egypt since our “Egypt Fun Tours” agent will be there to assist you with all of the passport check procedures as well as baggage identification and carrying. He will be waiting for you at your arrival gate at Cairo Airport. Then, after arriving at your 5* hotel reservation and checking in, you will start your tour with a candlelit dinner cruise along the legendary Nile River. While on board, you can unwind and take in a vibrant belly dancing performance with a folklore band that includes a magical Tannoura spin in keeping with Egypt’s whirling dervishes tradition. You will eventually return to your hotel to spend the night.

Day 2: Spend It With Your Lover Living Among The Mysteries Pyramids.

Early in the morning, after enjoying your breakfast and checking out of the hotel, you will join your tour guide to see some of the most remarkable historical locations on the plant, including:

Egyptian Pyramids in Giza

Your first destination will be the complex of Giza pyramids, which has been waiting for your arrival for the previous four thousand years. The magnificent sphinx, the house of an immortality valley temple, six smaller pyramids, and three great pyramids make up the Giza complex.

The Great Pyramid

As the last remaining example of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the colossal pyramid of Khufu is pure history steeped in mystery and awe. It was created in 2580 BC, making it more than 4500 years old. It took 20 years to build, using 2,300,000 pieces of 2.5-ton limestone and 100,000 unpaid trained laborers. The pyramids were finished at a height of 147 m (481 ft), making them the highest structures in the world for 3800 years. Due to its intricate interior contrasted with its enormous size, the great pyramid may nonetheless draw attention.

The Great Sphinx

The enormous sphinx, which is shaped like a legendary animal with the body of a lion and the head of a man who was likely King Khafre to symbolize strength and knowledge, has inspired great artists, travelers, and kings for endless ages. The sphinx has been given several titles throughout history, including Abu Al-Hawl, which is Arabic for “The Father of Terror.” The origin and age of the sphinx, which stands 73 meters (240 feet) tall and 20 meters (66 feet) wide, are both shrouded in mystery. It was carved out of single limestone rock in three years by roughly 100 workmen.

The Valley Temple

The Valley Temple, which was built during the Old Kingdom of Egypt, is where the mummification process took performed (2686 2134 BC). It is one of the best-preserved remains of ancient Egyptian architecture and a wealth of knowledge about ancient Egyptian mummification may be found there. The valley is completely composed of limestone and granite and is home to spectacular King Khafra diorite monuments.

Take your special someone out for a romantic lunch with a view of the Pyramids or the Nile, after which you’ll go to:

The Egyptian Museum

The Egyptian Museum is where you may discover the fascinating mysteries of ancient Egypt. It has the greatest collection of priceless monuments and artifacts from ancient Egypt, stretching back more than 4500 years. More than 150,000 artifacts, including statues, funerary relics, papyrus, King Tutankhamun’s treasures, the Narmer Palette, and numerous displayed mummies, are housed inside the two-story building. These artifacts are made of expensive materials like gold and gemstones as well as more common ones like wood or stone.

You will next make a trip to the Cairo airport to catch your flight to Luxor. You will check into a 5-star hotel upon arrival for the night.

Day 3: Explore the Luxor East Bank’s Treasures

After breakfast in the morning, you will go to the East Bank of Luxor to continue your Egypt honeymoon journey by seeing some of the top Luxor tourist sites, such as:

Temple of Karnak

The Karnak Temple, also known as Ipet-isu The Most Selected Of Places, and Pr-Imn House Of Amon is a bit of paradise on Earth and one of the largest open-air museums in the world. It is one of the oldest sacred man-made structures on the planet and is more than 4,000 years old. For more than 1500 years, it functioned as the epicenter of religious ceremonies for the whole ancient Egyptian monarchy. The Karnak temple included shrines for several gods, including Osiris, Montu, Ptah, Isis, and others, but it was primarily devoted to the Theban triad, which was made up of God Amun, his wife Mut, the Goddess of Justice, and their son Khnsou, the Moon God.

After enjoying your lunch, you will be transferred to your hotel for a little rest, after which you will proceed with your tour guide at night to spend a fantastic night at:

Temple of Luxor

The Luxor Temple, also known as “Ipetresyet,” or the southern sanctuary, was erected around 1400 BCE during the reign of Pharaoh Amenhotep III and is the crown jewel of the whole city, showcasing the creative essence of the period. It was intended to symbolize the concept of the revival of royalty and was dedicated to the Theban Triad’s God Amun. The temple is adorned with entrancing, elaborate architecture. The finest time to visit the temple is at night when the moonlight illumines the building and gives it a fresh new life.

You will then be transferred back to your hotel for the night.

Day 4: End of Luxor West Bank Adventure and depart for Hurghada

After eating breakfast and leaving your hotel in Luxor, you will continue your romantic honeymoon in Egypt with your tour guide and take a tour of the west bank of Luxor, beginning with:

The Kings’ Valley

The Valley of the Kings was created by the ancient Egyptians in the middle of a mountain to serve as the ultimate resting place for the greatest Kings and Queens of Egypt’s new empire. It is a wonderful location between the earth and the skies (1570-1070 BC). The most renowned ones are those of Rameses II, Amenhotep I, Hatshepsut, and the well-known boy king Tutankhamun. It has 63 tombs that are each loaded with magnificent antiques, sculptures, and decorations. Due to the valley’s historical and aesthetic significance, UNESCO designated it a World Heritage Site in 1979.

Temple of Hatshepsut

The best illustration of status, accomplishment, and class is the Hatshepsut Temple. It was referred to as Djeser-Djeseru (Holy of Holies) and is renowned for being the most magnificent building ever built by the ancient Egyptians. It was constructed in 1479 BC to demonstrate the tenacious spirit of the New Kingdom (1550–1070 BC), Hatshepsut’s devotion to the deity Amun, and her authority as one of the greatest pharaohs in the annals of ancient Egypt. The temple’s distinctive style is based on the idea of classical architecture, and it houses some of Egypt’s most spectacular sculptures, decorations, and works of art.

Memnon’s Colossi

Amenhotep III (1386–1350) constructed the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous stones of quartzite sandstone that rise at a height of 18 meters (60 feet), weighing 720 tonnes each, and are shaped like the Pharaoh himself. They have been guarding the city of Luxor for a very long time. A significant earthquake that occurred in 27 BC devastated the colossi, although they were later reconstructed in 199 AD. The Vocal Memnon phenomena, in which a singing sound was sometimes created and was nothing more than the sound of the wind blowing over the statue at dawn, helped the sculptures earn a considerable reputation throughout the Greco-Roman era.

After a romantic lunch with a view of the Nile, you’ll travel to Hurghada. Upon arriving, check into a five-star hotel and stay the night.

Day 5: Perfect your honeymoon at the Red Sea.

On your fifth day, you will be in Hurghada, where you will have a free day to explore the city resort and take advantage of all the city has to offer with your soul mate.

Day 6: Take a flight from Hurghada to Cairo

After breakfast on Day 6, you will check out of your Hurghada hotel and take a flight in the evening to Cairo, where you will spend the night in a five-star hotel.

Day 7: Finish Your Egypt 7 Days Honeymoon

What People Say About Us
5/5

Thank you Egypt Fun Tours for a most memorable trip. I admit I didn’t do any of the planning (it was all done by my boyfriend) but as you can read in the reviews below Hani (the owner of Egypt Fun Tours) is superbly organized and accommodating with scheduling.

My boyfriend and I, and our dearest mutual friend, booked the 7Days-6Nights tour. In short time, we visited Cairo, Aswan, and Luxor sailing down the down the Nile, pit stopping to see key sites at these location – and so much more!!! We got to know the ancient and modern egypt in depth thanks to Hani’s impressive knowledge. He also enlightened us on the people and their beliefs and went as far as showing us what a typical life looks like. I cannot express the level of personalized service Hani offered us. He was flexible to adapt to our requirements and added sites to our schedule that was not part of the tour simply to ensure we were 100% satisfied with our experience in Egypt.

I went to Egypt practically blind-folded, not knowing what to expect, especially considering the time we had decided to go (December 2020 – we were the first group that Hani met with after months of having to put his tour agency on hold considering the pandemic) yet he managed to surpass all of our expectations. I felt so incredibly lucky for us to have stumbled on Hani. I would recommend Egypt Fun Tours to anyone and everyone. It was truly, HANDS DOWN, the best cultural experience I’ve ever had. You’ll be in the best of hands.

Hamada was incredible! So knowledgeable and kind. He had information about every item, street corner, and relic we looked at. Any questions we had, he had answers! He even made sure to give us tips while walking through the crowds so that’s we would feel more comfortable when being approached by vendors. Oh and the food?! He took us to the best places! Delicious food!! We tried Egyptian fried chicken, falafel for the first time, the best shawarma in the city (we love food). We even got to meet his beautiful wife and children and try some “French” Egyptian coffee in their home! Truly made friends for life!! We’ve promised to host him and the family when they travel to America for the first time! Such an incredible experience, and Hamada (and family) made it that much more memorable and amazing!

Excellent trip to historic sites with no one else around. We came to see Egypt while most places still had COVID19 fears. The staff at Egypt Fun Tours were professional, safe, and great to deal with. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and entertaining. I feel like I just got a a year of Egyptology in the last week and we had all the sites to ourselves due to COVID19. While people are shutting down and staying home you should feel safe to come explore with Egypt Fun Tours and have the place to yourself.
