Day One: Visit Luxor East Bank

At Luxor Airport, you will be greeted by your private expert tour guide who will be waiting for you with a sign of “Egypt Fun Tours” Then you will be guided to the most popular historical landmarks in Luxor East Bank including:

Karnak Temple

Karnak temple is one of the most glorious legacies and is described as the “most selected place”. This site had maintained a great position in Ancient Egypt’s history since it’s the best-known religious spot which was mainly constructed as a center of pilgrimage for almost 2000 years.

After finishing, we will transfer you to a super Nile view restaurant for a lunch meal then check in 5* hotel in Luxor to spend the rest of the day before starting a wonderful night experience with your tour guide to visit:

Luxor Temple by Night

Luxor temple dates back to around 1392 BC when Amenhotep III started the process of its construction and was completed by Tutankhamun in 1336 BC and Horemheb in 1323 BC. The temple is still used for worship to the present day so the site was buried beneath the houses of the city. During the Coptic Period, the temple’s hypostyle wall was used as a Christian church.

We will drive you back to your hotel to spend the night.

Day Two: Visit Luxor West Bank

Breakfast at the hotel then your private tour guide will pick you up by a private A/C vehicle to continue your short break in Luxor and enjoy visiting the best recognizable attractions on the west bank including:

Valley of the Kings

The west bank of Luxor had been the site of “The Place of Truth” and the royal burials since 2100 BC. The Pharaohs of the New Kingdom had selected this isolated place to host their legendary tombs. The Valley of the Kings introduced over 60 royal tombs to the world which contain millions of treasures and jewelry.

Hatshepsut Temple

Hatshepsut temple is the precious achievement belonging to Queen Hatshepsut which is situated beneath the gigantic cliffs of “Deir El Bahari“. Hatshepsut was one of the best-known pharaohs of the 18th dynasty and she is believed to have ruled the country for 22 years. She had planned for promising constructive projects and this majestic temple was one of them.

Colossi of Memnon

The Colossi of Memnon consists of two faceless limestone statues originally representing King Amenhotep III rising remarkably about 18 m. These stunning sculptures, each cut from a single block of stones, sit at the eastern entrance of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III.

Finally, we will transfer you to Luxor Airport on time to catch your flight back home and end your Luxor short break.

Thank you Egypt Fun Tours for a most memorable trip. I admit I didn’t do any of the planning (it was all done by my boyfriend) but as you can read in the reviews below Hani (the owner of Egypt Fun Tours) is superbly organized and accommodating with scheduling.

My boyfriend and I, and our dearest mutual friend, booked the 7Days-6Nights tour. In short time, we visited Cairo, Aswan, and Luxor sailing down the down the Nile, pit stopping to see key sites at these location – and so much more!!!
