The whole party will be driven to their reserved 5-star hotel in a separate air-conditioned vehicle, where everyone will check in and unwind.

The entire group will travel with their tour guide to see the magnificent sound and light show at the Giza pyramid complex during the evening, which will tell the epic story of how the ancient Egyptian civilization developed along the banks of the Nile River. Following the show, the group will eat dinner at a restaurant before traveling back to their hotel for the night.

  • Food: Dinner
  • Hotel in Cairo overnight

Day 2: Explore Memphis City & the Pyramids

The whole group will have breakfast together in the morning before heading off on their group vacation trip in a private A/C vehicle, commencing with:

Giza Pyramids Complex

Within the complex, which comprises the following, are the biggest archaeological structures ever constructed throughout the 5000-year history of ancient Egypt:

The Great Pyramid

With a height of 147 meters and a weight of 6 million tonnes, the Pyramid of Pharaoh Khufu (2609–2584 BC) is still the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World that is still intact. It contains the Great King’s Chamber, the Queen’s Chamber, the Grand Valley, the Big Void, and other structures.

The Great Sphinx

During his reign between 2558 BC and 2532 BC, the legendary pharaoh Khafre carved the largest man-made statue on earth, which bears his visage and holds the body of a lion, to preserve his history. The dream Steele of Thutmose IV, which was put to the statue around 1404 BC, is located between its feet.

The Valley Temple

To preserve the corpses of the Royal family of the 4th dynasty, the Valley temple was built at the beginning of the ancient kingdom, in 2600 BC.

After eating lunch at a restaurant with a view of the Pyramids and the Nile, the whole party will go with their tour guide to:

Step Pyramid of Saqqara

King Djoser’s tomb complex, the “Saqqara Pyramid,” was built between 2670 and 2650 BC according to the vizier Imhotep’s prophetic vision.

City of Memphis

The magnificent city of Memphis, which was built in 2925 BC under the divine protection of the god of art and craftsmanship Ptah, served as Egypt’s first capital. The modern name “Egypt” has its roots in the city of Memphis’ old Greek name “Aigyptos.”

The whole party will then make the trip back to your accommodation in Cairo for the night.

  • breakfast and lunch
  • Hotel in Cairo overnight

Day 3: Travel to Alexandria, a Special City.

Pompey’s Pillar

To house the purported bones of General Pompey, the 33.85 m-tall Great Pillar of Pompey was constructed in 300 AD.

Citadel of Qaitbay

In 1447 AD, on the same site as the Lighthouse of Alexandria and utilizing salvaged building materials, the exceedingly unusual fortification of Qaitbay was constructed.

After eating lunch at a neighborhood eatery in Alexandria, the party will continue their trip to look at:

Alexandria Library

The magnificent Alexandria Bibliotheca, one of Egypt’s greatest libraries, was constructed in 2002. In addition to housing the world’s largest collection of francophone books, it also has several art galleries, internal museums, and other amenities.

The Unfinished Obelisk

The fabled shattered obelisk of Pharaoh Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC) was intended to be 42 meters tall and weigh 1200 tonnes, yet it now stands as a testament to the workmanship of ancient Egypt.

Temple of Philae

To preserve and display one of the greatest tales ever recounted in the history of ancient Egypt, the mythical temple of the goddess of Motherhood, Isis, was created in the 7th century BC during the Ptolemaic dynasty.

Temple of Edfu

On the same battlefield where Horus and his evil uncle Set, the deity of the desert, fought an epic battle, the supernatural temple of Edfu, the sky falcon god, was built between 237 BC and 57 BC. It is one of the best-preserved shrines in all of Egypt. It is dedicated to Horus, the sky falcon god of victory.

The whole party will depart for their 5-star hotel in Luxor for lunch before continuing in the evening to explore:

Luxor Temple by Night

The ghostly Luxor temple, which was constructed in 1400 BC during the New Kingdom (1570–1050 BC), is a representation of beauty. The temple’s major function was to host the magnificent Opet celebration, which symbolized the revitalization of the kingdom, as well as the coronations of kings like Ramses the Great and Amenhotep III. What People Say About Us
5/5

Thank you Egypt Fun Tours for a most memorable trip. I admit I didn’t do any of the planning (it was all done by my boyfriend) but as you can read in the reviews below Hani (the owner of Egypt Fun Tours) is superbly organized and accommodating with scheduling.

My boyfriend and I, and our dearest mutual friend, booked the 7Days-6Nights tour. In short time, we visited Cairo, Aswan, and Luxor sailing down the down the Nile, pit stopping to see key sites at these location – and so much more!!! We got to know the ancient and modern egypt in depth thanks to Hani’s impressive knowledge. He also enlightened us on the people and their beliefs and went as far as showing us what a typical life looks like. I cannot express the level of personalized service Hani offered us. He was flexible to adapt to our requirements and added sites to our schedule that was not part of the tour simply to ensure we were 100% satisfied with our experience in Egypt.

I went to Egypt practically blind-folded, not knowing what to expect, especially considering the time we had decided to go (December 2020 – we were the first group that Hani met with after months of having to put his tour agency on hold considering the pandemic) yet he managed to surpass all of our expectations. I felt so incredibly lucky for us to have stumbled on Hani. I would recommend Egypt Fun Tours to anyone and everyone. It was truly, HANDS DOWN, the best cultural experience I’ve ever had. You’ll be in the best of hands.

Hamada was incredible! So knowledgeable and kind. He had information about every item, street corner, and relic we looked at. Any questions we had, he had answers! He even made sure to give us tips while walking through the crowds so that’s we would feel more comfortable when being approached by vendors. Oh and the food?! He took us to the best places! Delicious food!! We tried Egyptian fried chicken, falafel for the first time, the best shawarma in the city (we love food). We even got to meet his beautiful wife and children and try some “French” Egyptian coffee in their home! Truly made friends for life!! We’ve promised to host him and the family when they travel to America for the first time! Such an incredible experience, and Hamada (and family) made it that much more memorable and amazing!

Excellent trip to historic sites with no one else around. We came to see Egypt while most places still had COVID19 fears. The staff at Egypt Fun Tours were professional, safe, and great to deal with. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and entertaining. I feel like I just got a a year of Egyptology in the last week and we had all the sites to ourselves due to COVID19. While people are shutting down and staying home you should feel safe to come explore with Egypt Fun Tours and have the place to yourself.
