Detailed itinerary of the 10 Days Egypt Tour Including Nile Cruise and Hurghada

Day 1: Cairo Arrival

Arrival – Meet & Assist You’ll be met and assisted by our representative at the airport and escorted to your hotel for a relaxing night in and good sleep. Overnight: Hotel in Cairo

Day 2: Pyramids & Sphinx tour

Wake up and have a nice breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you’ll be escorted at 8:00 am to one of the wonders of the world: the Giza Pyramids. The three pyramids are Cheops (the biggest), followed by Khefren (the middle pyramid), and last, but not least, Mankura (the smallest of the lot). Whilst in Giza, you’ll also get to see the legendary Sphinx – one of the most magnificent sites you’ll ever see. After that, you’ll be taken to visit the magnificent Egyptian Museum which holds over 25,000 monuments from ancient Egyptian times. Your day won’t be complete without a visit to Khan El Khalili bazaar! When done with your sightseeing, you’ll be transferred to the railway station where you’ll take the overnight sleeper train, on half-board accommodation to Aswan

Day 3: Aswan sightseeing

Your breakfast will be served on the train, after which you’ll be met at the Aswan Railway Station by one of our representatives. Your trip will start at 10:00 am with a visit to the Unfinished Obelisk – the largest known ancient obelisk, followed by the High Dam of Aswan – also one the biggest dams in the world, and finally a visit to Elephantine Island and Philae Temple. After concluding your sightseeing for the day, you’ll check in to your Nile Cruise, and have lunch on board where you’ll spend the night.

Day 4: Kom Ombo Temple

Wake up to the beautiful scenery of the Nile and have breakfast onboard the ship! We’ll set sail to Kom Ombo, where we’ll stop off, and then set off to Edfu where we’ll dock for the night.

Day 5: Esna Lock to Luxor

Breakfast is served on board as we sail via Esna Lock to Luxor where we dock for the night and you sleep aboard the ship.

Day 6: Luxor to Hurghada

Breakfast will be served on board the ship, then you’ll be checking out of the Nile Cruise and visiting the Luxor Temple (on the East Bank of the Nile), the Karnak Temple, the Valley of the Kings (on the West Bank), the Valley of the Queens, the Hatshepsut Temple and finally, the Colossi of Memnon. After being done with sightseeing, you’ll be driven to Hurghada, taken and checked into your hotel where you’ll have a good night’s sleep to reenergize for your beach adventures the next day!

Day 7: Hurghada – Beaches

Wake up and have a nice, big breakfast and then head to the beach! Relax and enjoy your free day on Hurghada’s beautiful beaches and the inviting swimming pool.

Day 8: Hurghada – Beaches

Breakfast will be served at the hotel and then you’ll have another day of enjoying yourself at Hurghada’s gorgeous beaches and the swimming pool – because one day is just not enough!

Day 9: Cairo

Wake up and have breakfast at the hotel and then check out and start the drive back to Cairo, where you’ll be taken to your hotel to enjoy a good night’s sleep.

Day 10: Departure

You’ll wake up and have breakfast at the hotel and then you’ll be escorted to the airport where you will head back home with warm feelings, unforgettable memories, and a promise to return!

Thank you Egypt Fun Tours for a most memorable trip. I admit I didn’t do any of the planning (it was all done by my boyfriend) but as you can read in the reviews below Hani (the owner of Egypt Fun Tours) is superbly organized and accommodating with scheduling.

My boyfriend and I, and our dearest mutual friend, booked the 7Days-6Nights tour. In short time, we visited Cairo, Aswan, and Luxor sailing down the down the Nile, pit stopping to see key sites at these location – and so much more!!! We got to know the ancient and modern egypt in depth thanks to Hani’s impressive knowledge.
