Egypt & Alexandria Classics

Looking for a comprehensive Egyptian adventure? Our Egypt Tours with Alexandria offer the most complete experience, combining the vibrant energy of Egypt’s two largest cities with an incredible journey down the Nile. Our meticulously crafted tour packages take you from the bustling streets of Cairo to the historic, Mediterranean charm of Alexandria.

Experience a Different Side of Egypt

Embarking on Egypt Tours with Alexandria opens the door to a captivating blend of ancient history and vibrant modern culture. Alexandria, founded by Alexander the Great in 331 BC, was once a beacon of knowledge and progress. It was home to the legendary Great Library and the iconic Lighthouse of Alexandria—two of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

Today, this Mediterranean gem offers visitors the opportunity to explore its rich historical sites, stunning architecture, and beautiful coastal scenery. Unlike the Pharaonic monuments of Cairo and Luxor, Alexandria’s treasures reflect its Greco-Roman heritage.

Journey Through a Rich History

4 Days Deluxe Tour of Cairo and Alexandria - meditation tour

As you explore Alexandria, you will see a fascinating fusion of cultures. Visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, a three-level Roman-era burial site that blends Egyptian, Greek, and Roman artistic styles. Marvel at Pompey’s Pillar, a colossal Roman triumphal column, and explore the remains of the Serapeum temple.

Next, tour the impressive Citadel of Qaitbay, a 15th-century fortress built on the very site of the ancient Lighthouse. This fortress offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea.

A Vibrant City with Modern Charm

Alexandria’s story continues into the modern era. Visit the modern Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a stunning architectural masterpiece that pays homage to the ancient library. You can also stroll along the famous Corniche, a seaside promenade bustling with cafes, restaurants, and locals enjoying the sea breeze.

Whether you are a history enthusiast, a culture seeker, or simply looking to relax by the sea, a tour that includes Alexandria promises a unique and enriching experience. This city’s vibrant charm and layered history make it one of Egypt’s most fascinating destinations. For the best of both worlds, choose one of our comprehensive Egypt Tours with Alexandria.

Egypt Fun Tours – Does it All!

My husband and I visited Egypt in March 2013. First, let me say, ‘Go, go, go!’ – it’s safer and definitely friendlier than many places we’ve visited. Tourism is drastically down – thanks mostly to media misinformation – so it’s a great time to visit to avoid line-ups and crowds
