Beyond the Capital: 7 Days of Monumental Extremes

Explore the iconic sites of Cairo, and then start desert safari adventure in the white desert and Wadi El Hitan. Staying in Cairo and looking for 7 days tours around Cairo? Fly to Cairo to explore its iconic sites, then take trips to nearby oases like El-Fayoum Oasis and Bahariya Oasis enjoying an overnight camping adventure in the White Desert with a thrilling desert safari experience.

Day 1: Cairo Arrival:

Arrive at Cairo airport. Pick up by our representative at Cairo airport. Meet, welcome, and assist with airport formalities. Transfer to your Cairo hotel, Check-in, and overnight.

Day 2: Memphis, Giza, and Saqqara Pyramids Tours:

After breakfast, start touring the pyramids and the Sphinx escorted by our private expert tour guide, who will be glad to give you a full introduction to the pyramids and how they were built 5000 years ago. See the Sphinx and the ancient temples surrounding it. Lunch will be served in one of the tourist restaurants around the Giza pyramids area (Egyptian food). Afternoon: Visit Saqqara Pyramids and tombs with a visit to the Museum of Imhotep. Transfer you back to the hotel. Overnight at your hotel in Cairo.

Day 3: Cairo Sightseeing Tours:

After breakfast, start your tour to the Cairo Museum to see one of the most important world heritage collections as well as the unique collection of the boy King Tut ankh amen and his famous golden mask. Also, there will be an opportunity to see the royal mummies. Continue your tours to Coptic Cairo to see the ancient churches and the place that accommodates the very first church, mosque, and Synagogue in Egypt. Carry on your tours to the Citadel of Saladin to be introduced to the Turkish-designed mosque of Mohamed Ali (AKA Alabaster mosque), which is the main feature of the citadel. GO on to the large tourist bazaar of Khan Elkhalili to see the authentic Islamic architecture of medieval Cairo. Transfer you back to your hotel. Overnight.

Day 4: El-Fayoum Oasis & Wadi El-Hitan Day Trip:

After breakfast, start your full-day trip to the Fayoum Oasis to see the dynamic waterfalls and the amazing green land of the oasis with all the fruit gardens and the natural springs. Continue your tours to the Valley of the Whales, which is one of the world’s heritage sites with more than 400 fossils of whales between 40 and 200 million years old! Lunch is an Egyptian Barbecue at the site of Wadi El-Hitan. Transfer you back to your hotel in Cairo. Overnight.

Day 5: White Desert Camping Trip:

After breakfast, embark on your overnight camping trip to the White Desert with the same expert tour guide. Arrive at Bawiti, the center of the Bahariya Oasis, and take a 4×4 jeep safari to start your off-road adventure to the White Desert. Along the way, you will stop to explore the Black Desert, the Crystal Mountains, the Obstacles Desert, the Egyptian Canyon, the Old White Desert, and the ancient valleys. Upon reaching the New White Desert, enjoy the stunning limestone formations created by nature while your driver prepares one of the best meals you’ll ever have! Drinks are included in this trip. The camp will be set up, and after dinner, you can relax and sleep under the bright stars our planet offers.

Day 6: The White Desert – Cairo:

After breakfast in the white desert, start your trip back to Cairo, passing by Bawiti to switch cars again into a tourist air-conditioned van. Arrive in Cairo, check in to your hotel, and overnight.

Day 7: Cairo – Home:

After breakfast. Transfer you to Cairo airport for your final departure, carrying great memories and an unforgettable, nice feeling of being in this old country.
