Tour Itinerary
Day trip and Cairo tour from Port Ghalib via plane: You will take a shuttle from your Port Ghalib hotel to the Marsa Alam airport in the early morning to catch a flight to Cairo, where you will be met by your own tour guide and can start visiting all of its beautiful treasures, including:
The complex of the Giza Pyramids: The Giza Pyramids Complex is a magnificent work of art that includes the Great Three Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, the Valley Temple, and Six Small Pyramids, among other enormous structures.
The Great Pyramid: The Khufu Pyramid, one of the renowned seven wonders of the ancient world, was built in the year 2580 BC out of 2.3 million limestone blocks, reaching a height of 147 m (481 ft). From inside, there are advanced interiors with tunnels and majestic halls, making it the last intact marvel of its kind.
The Great Sphinx: As the protector of the vast country, the largest, oldest, and best-known statue in the world is housed in the center of the Giza complex. It is 73 meters (240 feet) tall, 22 meters (66 feet) broad, and resembles the Sphinx, a legendary beast from antiquity. The Sphinx’s head is that of a man, maybe King Khafre, and it has the body of a lion sitting.
The Valley Temple: Since the Old Kingdom of Egypt (2686-2134 BC), when the Valley temple was built to conduct the mummification process, the ancient Egyptians have always had immortality as a blessing.
We’ll have lunch at a restaurant with a view of the Pyramids and the Nile. Your trip from Port Ghalib to Cairo will then continue with stops at:
The Egyptian Museum: Over 140,000 ancient items made of stone, wood, gold, and precious stones, as well as numerous mummies, were housed inside the walls of the Egyptian Museum from the early 19th century. These objects showed the inventiveness, beauty, and creative minds of the ancient Egyptians.
Khan El Khalili Bazaar: In the year 970 AD, at the height of the Islamic Empire, a fantastical boulevard sprang from the clouds to provide tourists with everything they could possibly want, including cafés with entrancing Islamic architecture and delectable beverages and wonderful stores stocked with magnificent items.
After leaving the Hurghada airport and arriving in Cairo, you will go back to your hotel in Port Ghalib. Please take note that if you want to make any changes to this schedule, you must inform us right away.
