Day 5: Visit the Luxor East Bank
After breakfast, we will pick you up to explore the East Bank of the Nile, starting with:
- Temple of Karnak: A famous temple complex built during the reign of Senusert I, dedicated to the goddess of Thebes and the god Amun.
Enjoy lunch at a Nile-view restaurant before heading to:
- Luxor Temple: Built by Amenhotep III and completed by Tutankhamun, this temple was significant for the Opet Festival.
Return to your hotel for the night.
Day 6: Visit Luxor’s West Bank
After breakfast, check out and continue your journey to the West Bank with your tour guide, visiting:
- The Valley of Kings: Royal tombs filled with items for the afterlife.
- Temple of Hatshepsut: A magnificent temple dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut, featuring stunning architecture and artwork.
- Memnon’s Colossi: Two massive statues of King Amenhotep III, each weighing 720 tons.
Enjoy lunch at an Egyptian restaurant before transferring to Hurghada and checking into a 5-star hotel for the night.
7th day: Travel to Hurghada City
After breakfast, enjoy various activities in Hurghada, including swimming, relaxing on the beach, and sampling fresh cuisine.
Day 8: Free Day in Hurghada
Spend the day exploring Hurghada at your leisure.
9th day: Hurghada to Cairo – Tour of Old Cairo
Check out of your hotel and return to Cairo. Meet your guide at the airport and visit:
- The Egyptian Museum: Home to thousands of artifacts, including treasures of King Tutankhamun.
- Citadel of Salah El Din: A historic fortress built in the 12th century.
- Mosque of Mohamed Ali: An alabaster mosque built in the 19th century.
- National Museum of Egyptian Civilization: Showcasing Egypt’s rich history.
- Khan El Khalili Bazaar: Experience local culture through shopping and dining.
Return to your Cairo hotel for the night.
Last day: End of Your Egypt Overland Tour
After breakfast, check out and meet our representative for your transfer to the airport, concluding your Cairo, Aswan, Luxor, and Hurghada adventure.
