Valley of the Kings

The Valley of the Kings is a magical time vault. It was created in the heart of the sacred hill during the New Kingdom (1570 – 1050 BC). The royal gates of the kings hold 63 tombs. These tombs are filled with golden artifacts and colorful decorations. They belong to great Pharaohs like Ramses II, Hatshepsut, Seti I, and Tutankhamen.

Hatshepsut Temple

This glorious and beautiful colossal temple was made for Queen Hatshepsut (1507–1458 BC). It came into existence in 1479 BC to honor the sun god Amun. It also immortalized Hatshepsut’s great heritage. Workers carved the enchanting temple of Hatshepsut into the rocky hills of Deir El Bahari for 15 years. It became one of the most preserved architectural and archaeological constructions in Egypt’s history.

Colossi of Memnon

The everlasting statues of Colossi of Memnon depict Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386 – 1349 BC). Workers constructed these giant masterpieces in 1350 BC. Later, they reassembled them various times during the Greco-Roman period. People named them for Memnon, a Greek historical figure.Next, you have lunch on an island. You end your day tour from Safaga to Luxor by visiting:

Karnak Temple

The grand Karnak temple complex is known as the most selected of places by ancient Egypt’s divine power. It showcases the religious dedication and architectural mastery of the ancient Egyptians. Builders created it to honor the Theban triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. The blessed Karnak temple’s complex construction process began between 2000 BC and 30 BC.

It sits on 247 acres of divine land. The enchanting Avenue of Sphinxes, the Hypostyle Hall, and the religious areas are famous. They are enchanting examples of archaeological architecture and art. Finally, we transfer you back to Safaga Port. This ends your day tour from Safaga to Luxor.
