Tour Itinerary

Detailed Itinerary of Luxor Day Trip from El Gouna

We will pick you up from your hotel in El Gouna in the morning by private A/C vehicle, and upon arrival, you will begin your Luxor day excursion from El Gouna by experiencing Luxor tourist spots such as:

The Valley of Kings

It is the ultimate resting place of Egypt’s kings from the 18th to the 20th dynasties, and it contains tombs of the great Pharaoh Ramses II and the young Pharaoh Tutankhamun. The tombs were well-stocked with all the material items that a monarch may want in the afterlife. The majority of the ornamentation within the graves has survived.

Temple of Hatshepsut

It is one of the most stunning and well-preserved Ancient Egyptian temples. The temple was erected on three levels, with two large ramps connecting them in the center.

Memnon’s Colossi

The sole remnants of a full funerary temple are two huge stone sculptures of King Amenhotep III. The sculptures are built from pieces of quartzite sandstone found in Cairo and transported 700 kilometers to Luxor.

Then, go to an island for lunch, so that your tour includes a boat ride on the Nile River followed by a guided visit of:

Temple of Karnak

Karnak is Egypt’s most spectacular site. It is the world’s biggest temple complex. It is the culmination of several generations of ancient builders and Pharaohs. The Temple of Karnak consists of three principal temples spread over 247 acres of land.

Finally, we will return you to your accommodation in a private air-conditioned car, bringing your Luxor day excursion from El Gouna to a close.

Solid Tour Company

Last year (2010) my wife and I did a 20 day trip in Egypt, mostly Do-It-Yourself. However, one of the first things we did was a trip to Bahariya oasis and to the White Desert — not so easy to do yourself, so we needed an agency. After e-mail back-and-forths

Great shore excursion of Cairo & Giza

We are glad that we arranged our private shore excursion with Egypt Fun tours in last week of October 2012. Booking process was very easy with Hamada and she took care of all our questions promptly just via E-mail. Our group was little worried about safety in Egypt especially because

Great layover tour

First things first…I was in Cairo about a week before the protests of 2011 started. As far as the tour was concerned, I was very pleased. I was met at the airport by a knowledgeable guide (Sara) who spoke great English and a driver. They took me to Giza first,

Very Considerate and Helpful

Guide and driver were on time, open to my requests and took care that I felt safe and saw the Pyramids and parts of old cairo during my less than 24 hour stay between flights. Office staff were great in communicating by email before and during the trip.
