Discover the amazing wonders of ancient and modern Egypt through this tour of the NMEC and Royal Mummies Exhibit. The NMEC is located on the archaeological site of El-Fustat in Old Cairo, overlooking the Ain El-Seera Lake. Egyptian architect El Ghazzali Kosseiba designed the museum. Japanese architect Arata Isozaki is designing the exhibition spaces. Notably, the NMEC highlights Egyptian civilization from prehistoric times to today. Employing a multidisciplinary approach that emphasizes both tangible and intangible heritage.
