6-Day Trip Itinerary

1st day: Arrival in Cairo

Upon arrival at Cairo airport, you will be greeted by an Egypt Fun Tours representative who will assist you with customs and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

2nd day: Pyramids, Sphinx, Saqqara, and Memphis

After breakfast, explore the iconic Pyramids of Giza, including the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the best-preserved Pyramid of Chephren, and the Pyramid of Mycarinus. Visit the Sphinx and, optionally, the Papyrus Institute for a glimpse into ancient papermaking. Overnight in Cairo.

3rd day: El-Fayoum Oasis & Wadi El-Hitan Adventure

Following breakfast, embark on an adventure to El-Fayoum Oasis. Enjoy Lake Qarun, visit Tunis village for pottery, and explore Wadi El-Hitan’s climate change and whale fossil museums. Savor a local lunch, then head to Mudawara Mountain for stunning views and finish the day at Wadi El-Rayan to watch the sunset. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 4: Day Trip to Alexandria

After breakfast, travel to Alexandria (approx. 3 hours). Visit the Catacombs of Kom El-Dhokafa, the Pillar of Pompey, and the Roman amphitheater. Enjoy lunch at a seafood restaurant, then see the ancient lighthouse site and Qaytbay fortress. Visit the mosque of Abul-Abaas and take photos of the Alexandria Library before returning to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo.

5th day: Cairo Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, home to over 120,000 artifacts, including treasures of Tutankhamun. Enjoy a visit to Khan El Khalili bazaar for shopping and local experiences. Overnight in Cairo.

Last day: Departure

Enjoy breakfast, check out, and transfer to Cairo International Airport for your departure.
