6-Day Egypt Family Tour Itinerary

1st day: Arrival in Cairo & Light and Sound Show

  • Arrival at Cairo; assistance with paperwork and luggage.
  • Transfer to a hotel for check-in and relaxation.
  • Evening: Enjoy the Light and Sound Show at the Giza Complex.
  • Dinner: Local restaurant. Overnight in Cairo.

2nd day: Giza Pyramids Complex

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Guided tour of the Giza Pyramids Complex:
    • Great Pyramid: Built for King Khufu, a marvel of ancient engineering.
    • Great Sphinx: Iconic sculpture with the body of a lion and the face of Pharaoh Khafre.
    • Valley Temple: Limestone and granite temple used for mummification.
  • Lunch with a view of the Pyramids and the Nile.
  • Visit the Step Pyramid of Saqqara and the ancient city of Memphis.
  • Return to hotel for the night.

3rd day: Flight to Aswan

  • Breakfast and check out.
  • Fly to Aswan; meet your guide.
  • Visit:

    • Unfinished Obelisk: A glimpse into ancient stoneworking techniques.
  • Lunch at a local restaurant.
  • Explore the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis.

Day 4: Travel to Luxor

  • Breakfast and check out.
  • A train journey to Luxor; visit:
