Early morning, we will pick you up from the hotel in Marsa Alam by private A.C. for a tour of the ancient city of Luxor in luxury on a private day trip from Marsa Alam to Luxor. Accompanied by your private tour guide where you’ll visit famous historical sites including:

Valley of the Kings

The final resting place of Egypt’s rulers from the 18th to the 20th dynasty is home to tombs including the great Pharaoh Ramses II and boy Pharaoh Tutankhamun. The tombs were well stocked with all the material goods that the dead might need in the next world. Most of the decoration inside the tombs is still well preserved.

Hatshepsut Temple

It is one of the most beautiful & best preserved of all of the temples of Ancient Egypt. The temple was built on three levels with two wide ramps in a central position joining the levels together.

Colossi of Memnon

Two massive stone statues of King Amenhotep III are the only remains of a complete mortuary temple. The statues are made from blocks of quartzite sandstone that exist in Cairo and then moved 700 KM to Luxor.

We went on a full day trip to Wadi el Hitan and Wadi el Rayan with Mohamed (Hamada). Mohamed was a wonderful guide, always making sure we had plenty of water and enough to eat, and providing us with information about the area and Egypt more generally. He also gave us plenty of time to explore by ourselves. We would highly recommend Egypt Fun Tours and Mohamed.
