Detailed itinerary of the Private Luxor West Bank Tour

Egypt Fun Tours” representative will pick you up from your hotel / Nile cruise in Luxor to discover the West bank of Luxor, joining your private tour guide to discover:

Valley of the Kings

The final resting place of Egypt’s rulers from the 18th to the 20th dynasty, “Valley of the Kings,” is home to tombs including the great pharaoh Ramses II and boy pharaoh Tutankhamen. The tombs were richly stocked with all the material goods a ruler might need in the afterlife. Most decorations inside the tombs remain well preserved.

Hatshepsut Temple

The Temple of Hatshepsut stands as one of the most beautiful and best-preserved of all Ancient Egyptian temples. Builders constructed the temple on three levels, featuring two wide ramps at the center that connect the different levels.

Enjoy your lunch at a restaurant in Luxor, then continue your trip by exploring:

Colossi of Memnon are two massive stone statues of King Amenhotep III that are the only remains of a complete mortuary temple. The craftsmen carved the statues from blocks of quartzite sandstone sourced in Cairo, then transported them 700 km to Luxor.

Finally, we will transfer you to your hotel or Nile Cruise.

Goes well beyond “tour”

I am tempted to say “my friend Hani” runs an amazing service, because that is how he makes you feel. I first went on the 9-hour layover tour in summer 2011. Hani and driver picked me up at the airport at 3am, and by the time I left at noon
