Tour Itinerary 3 Days UNESCO Tour of Cairo and Wadi El Hitan:
Day 1: Arrival in Egypt / Visit Giza Pyramids: Our “Egypt Fun Tours” formal delegate will pick you up upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport. Then you will be assisted through your travel formalities and luggage identification before your professional Egyptologist will escort you by a modern air-conditioned car to visit the best of Cairo including:
Giza Pyramids Complex: It’s an ancient Egyptian site that witnessed the most precious legacy in history. The pharaohs of the 4th dynasty established their glorious tombs inside three remarkably structured pyramids. The three prominent pyramids are dedicated to Cheops, Chephren, and Menkaure, and the most significant one is the Pyramid of Cheops due to its very massive size.
The Great Sphinx: The Great Sphinx is the constant representation of wisdom and strength at the Giza Pyramids Complex, which is why it was formed with a man’s head and a lion’s body. It measures 73 meters tall and 20 meters high, and many myths have found that the spectacular Sphinx was constructed to be the guard of the Giza Plateau.
The Valley Temple: The final spot you will visit at Giza Plateau is the Valley Temple, which is dedicated to Pharaoh Khafre. It’s one of the best-preserved structures from the Old Kingdom, and it was usually used as a mortuary site for the mummification process. Lunch will be at a super-quality restaurant, and then check into the 5* hotel.

Day 2: Fabulous Trip to Wadi El Hitan: After breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, we will pick you up and start our trip to El Fayoum oasis, where we will explore:
Qarun Lake: Qarun Lake, also known as Birket Qarun, is a saltwater lake located in the Fayoum Governorate in Egypt, about 80 kilometers southwest of Cairo. It is considered one of the oldest natural lakes in the world and the third-largest lake in Egypt, covering about 202 square kilometers. The lake is situated in the El-Fayoum depression and receives agricultural and municipal pollution discharged through its two major drains.
Tunis Village: Tunis Village is a small village located in the oasis of Fayoum in Egypt. It is known for its art galleries, pottery workshops, and scenic landscapes.
The village is situated on a hill facing a large saltwater lake known as Qarun Lake, and it provides visitors with a unique opportunity to combine arts, adventure, relaxation, swimming, and agriculture all in one place. Visitors can explore Tunis Village during day trips from Cairo and enjoy activities such as pottery workshops, hiking, camel riding, and bird watching.

Wadi El Rayyan:
Wadi El Rayyan is a protected area and a nature reserve located in the Faiyum Governorate of Egypt, about 65 km southwest of Cairo. The reserve consists of two connected lakes, an upper lake and a lower lake, with a waterfall and a canal between them. The area has been designated as a nature protectorate by the Egyptian government since 1989 and is now under the supervision of the Ministry of Environmental Affairs (EEAA).
Wadi El Hitan:
Wadi El Hitan, also known as Whale Valley, is a paleontological protected area located in the Western Desert of Egypt, about 150 km southwest of Cairo. It is one of the most significant paleontological sites in the world and has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The area is known for its invaluable fossil remains of the earliest, and now extinct, suborder of whales, as well as a wide range of other prehistoric animal and plant species from the Eocene epoch, around 37 million years ago.
Transfer back to Cairo.
You will get back to the hotel to spend the night.
