Tour Itinerary

Cairo, El-Menia, Luxor, Aswan, Cairo

Day 1: Cairo Arrival:

Arrive at Cairo airport, Egypt Fun Tours representative will assist you through passport control formalities, and luggage identification & portage will greet you. You will be transferred from the airport by our private A/C car to your hotel. Check-in at your hotel and overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: Cairo Pyramids tours:

After breakfast, we start our visit to The pyramids of Giza (the great pyramid of King Cheops, the remains of the funeral temple of the same king, the pyramid of King Chephren, the pyramid of King Mekarynos, get inside one of the small pyramids, and see the Sphinx).

After lunch, we explore The pyramids of Sakkara ( The visual presentation of Sakkara, the step pyramid of King Djoser-the very first pyramid, the museum of Imhotep, the tomb of a high official, the pyramid of King Titi, the pyramid of King Unas, and see the pyramids of Dahshur from a distance).

Explore Memphis the very first capital city of Egypt ( the statue of King Ramses the second-16 meters high, the alabaster sphinx of the new kingdom). Attend the sound and light show at the Giza area (optional). Overnight at your hotel in Cairo

Day 3: Cairo Sightseeing Tours:

Following breakfast at your hotel, embark on a fascinating tour of the Egyptian Museum, where you’ll explore over 120,000 artifacts from ancient Egypt, including the incredible treasures of King Tutankhamun and the captivating royal mummies.

Delve into the rich heritage of Coptic Cairo, where you can visit the historic Church of Saint Sergius, the ancient synagogue of Ben Ezra, and the renowned Hanging Church, each a testament to Egypt’s diverse religious tapestry.Lunch in a tourist restaurant by the river Nile. Visit Islamic Cairo-the Citadel of Saladin, the alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali, the Gawhara palace of Mohamed Ali, and the mosque of Amr Ibn El-Aas the very first mosque built in Egypt.

Transfer back to your hotel, and Overnight

Day 4: Cairo- El-Menia:

Breakfast at your hotel. Free morning. Afternoon, transfer to the train station for your train to Menya. Check-in at your hotel in Minya and Overnight

Day 5: El-Menia: Beni Hassan Sightseeing Tours:

After Breakfast, start our tour to Beni Hassan. Egyptian local picnic lunch at Beni Hassan. Overnight at your hotel

Day 6: El-Menya, Tel-El-Amarna-Tuna el-Gabal Tours: After Breakfast, start our tour to Tel-El Amarna and Tunnel-Gabal. Egyptian Local Picnic Lunch at Tunal-Gabal

Day 7: El-Menia – Luxor: After Breakfast, transfer to El-Menia railway station for your train to Luxor. Reach Luxor. Check-in your hotel

Day 8: Luxor Sightseeing Tours: After Breakfast, start our tour to the west bank of the Nile in Luxor to see: The Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the Colossi of Memnon, Lunch on the west bank,

Transfer back to your hotel

Day 9: Luxor Sightseeing Tours: After Breakfast, start our tour to the temples of Karnak, and the temple of Luxor

Day 10: Luxor – Aswan, Edfu-Kom Ombo Temples: After Breakfast, Visit the temple of Edfu (dedicated to the falcon god Hours, and the second-largest temple in Egypt. Visit the unusual Greco-Roman double temple of Kom Ombo (dedicated to two gods, the falcon god Harveris, and the crocodile god Sobek). Reach Aswan, and check in at your hotel

Day 11: Aswan Sightseeing Tours:

After Breakfast, visit the High Dam (which was built in 1960 to control the annual flood of the Nile, and arrange the agriculture process). Visit the Unfinished obelisk (a huge obelisk dating back to the 18th dynasty that was left unfinished).

Check-in at our hotel for lunch (not included). In the afternoon, we take a motorboat to the temple of Philae (which was built by the Ptolemies and dedicated to the love goddess, Isis). Take a felucca ride around Elephantine Island sail past the Agha Khan mausoleum, and Kitchener’s Island.

Transfer back to your hotel

Day 12:Abu Simbel Trip: Breakfast Box. An early start for an optional tour to Abu Simbel. Transfer to the railway station for your sleeper train to Cairo

Day 13: Cairo walking tour: After breakfast, start our Ahmed Ibn Tulun mosque tour. Khan El-Khalili bazaar (where you can see the Al-Azhar mosque and the very unique Islamic ancient streets and complex)

Day 14: Cairo – Home:

Breakfast at the hotel. Egypt Fun Tours representative will transfer you to the airport and assist you at the airport through final departure formalities
