Day 5: Kom Ombo, Edfu & Luxor’s Ancient Marvels

Get a very early start today as you check out of your Aswan hotel and meet your private driver. Heading north toward Luxor along the scenic road, your first stop is the unique double Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile and falcon gods. Continue to the exceptionally preserved Temple of Horus at Edfu. Arriving in Luxor, head straight to the West Bank to descend into the vibrantly painted tombs of the Valley of the Kings and photograph the towering Colossi of Memnon.
