Halal Travel in Egypt Muslim Tour in 10 Days
On a fantastic 10-day Halal tour, visit all the distinctive mosques and Islamic attractions while being treated to the finest Halal cuisine and traditional dinners. Discover Al Albait’s mystical mysteries “may Allah Pray and have peace on them”, and you may explore Cairo, Alexandria, and Luxor to see the wonders of ancient Egypt.
Day 1: Arrival & Overnight in Cairo

Day 2: Al Muiz Street, Al Azhar Mosque, Bab Zuweila, El Hakim Bamr Ellah
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, our professional tour guide will meet you at the hotel, and pick you up to start your tour at Al Muiz Street or “Al Muiz Ledin Allah El Fatmy”, located in the “Al Azhar” area, one of the oldest streets in Cairo, well known to be the biggest–open-air Islamic Museum. Start your day tour with a visit to “El Azhar Mosque” the oldest, most famous Mosque & Islamic Institute in Egypt; established in 975 and surviving for more than 1000 years! En route you will watch “Bab Zuweila”; a medieval gate in Cairo & one of the most beautiful landmarks; has been established by “Gawhar El Sekely” as a defensive fence against attackers.
Followed by a visit to “Al Hakem B’amr Allah Mosque” or “Al Anwar”; the fourth among the surviving mosques in Egypt & the second biggest Fatimid Mosque. It dates back to 990 during the Fatimid époque with an exceptional location, surrounded by “Bab El Fetouh” & “The Old Northern Fence of Cairo” & “Bab El Nasr”. An optional stopover for prayers & lunch.
While still wandering in the same street; will have the chance to visit “Soliman Agha AL Selehdar Mosque” & School”, one of the “Not to be missed spots”. Has been established by the Prince “Soliman Agha El Selehdar” in 1837 in Ottoman architecture style; adjoining to the Mosque there is a school or what we used to call in Arabic “Kottab”. Free time at “Al Muez Street”.

Day 3: Egyptian Museum, Salah El Din Citadel, Mohamed Ali Mosque, Sultan Hasan Mosque
Good morning, a new day equals a new adventure! An optional morning tour to the “Egyptian Museum”.
Start your day tour by visiting “Salah El Din Citadel” founded by “Salah El Din El Ayuby”; getting inside the Citadel; you will have plenty of time to watch the amazing masterpiece “Mohamed Ali Mosque” or “The Alabaster Mosque ” of Mohamed Ali who asked the Turkish architect “Yousef Boushnaq” to build the Great Mosque in the same style of the fascinating Mosques built in Istanbul.
You will also visit “Sultan Hasan Mosque”; one of its kind! ” This mosque is the only among the mosques of Cairo, which combines the strength of the building & smoothness of decoration, which takes away your heart”; “Gaston Weit’s – Mosques in Cairo”.
Followed by a visit to “Al Refaie Mosque”, “Ahmed Ibn Toulon Mosque” & the remarkable gallery of “Gayer Anderson Museum” adjacent to “Ibn Toulon Mosque”; this house has been named after the British officer “Gayer Anderson” who was fond of the Egyptian lifestyle; that house is a storyteller…let it tell you more.
After “Maghreb Prayers”; awaken your faith & refresh your soul as well as enjoy an Islamic lecture. Transfer back to the hotel overnight.

Day 4: Qaitbay Citadel & Al Morsy Abu EL Abbas Mosque
You will have breakfast at the hotel & meet your guide who will escort you through a full day trip to Alexandria; the second capital of Egypt. Enjoy an included visit to the “Catacombs of Kom El Shokafa”
A Greco- Roman archeological site, then head to “Qaitbay Citadel” a fortress gloriously facing the Mediterranean Sea; it was built in 1477 as a defensive fort.
We will arrange for a stopover en route so that you can enjoy your lunch meal; Alex. is well known for its delicious, fresh seafood meals as well as oriental pies or as we call it in Arabic “fetter eskandrany”.
After lunch will head to “Al Morsy Abu EL Abbas Mosque”; one of the most beautiful Mosques in Egypt; overlooking the Eastern harbor and located in a very famous portion of Alex. “El Anfoshy”; the mosque was built in 1755, over the tomb of the Sufi saint “Abu El Abbas El Morsi”, followed by a visit to “El Nabi Daniel Mosque” built in 1790 and named after “Shaikh Mohamed Daniel El Mosley”.

Day 5: Great Pyramids, Sphinx, Memphis & Sakkara
Day free at your disposal, you may like to spend it at your hotel, as an alternative you have an option to visit Giza Great Pyramids, Sphinx, Memphis & Sakkara (Tour could be booked on spot). In The afternoon we will transfer you to the train station for a long enjoyable ride to Aswan.
Overnight: 1st class Sleeper train / Meals: Breakfast at hotel & dinner on board cruise.
Day 6: Al Tabya Mosque, High Dam, Philae Temple
Breakfast will be served on board the train. Upon arrival, you will be met & assisted by Travel Link Tours rep. who will take you to the selected hotel? Enjoy a suave check-in, you have free time to relax & refresh OR to enjoy a day tour in Aswan starting with a visit to The High Dam, followed by the well-preserved Philae Temple (tour could be booked on the spot). The afternoon is quite a perfect time to explore “Al Tabya Mosque”; the Oldest Mosque in Aswan. The Mosque was established during the “Mohamed Ali Pasha” era right in the heart of Aswan; centered in the middle of the East, West, South & North of this beautiful city, the mosque is designed in the Mamluks Style with two huge minarets & more than 100 steps to get to the Mosque! Transfer back to your hotel overnight. Optional Nubian Dinner.

Day 7: Abu EL Haggag Mosque & Luxor Temple
Early morning Drive to Luxor; it takes almost 3 hours & 25 min. to get there. Upon arrival will take a tour to explore “Abu EL Haggag Mosque”. That unique mosque witnessed three cultures starting with The Coptic one as it has been built on the ruins of an old Coptic church; the Pillar, it presents the Islamic style with the magnificent Pharaonic Embossments. Established in 1286 & placed in the yard of Luxor Temple & has been restored by the beginning of the 20th century. The Mosque has been named after “El-Shaikh Abu El Hagag Al Aksury” who received the tenets of Sufism in Alexandria. Then you will enjoy an included visit to Luxor Temple followed by a transfer to the hotel overnight. Optional Tour at Karnak Temples.

Day 8: Optional Hot Air Balloon Ride in Luxor
Day free at leisure; optional tour to visit “Valley of the Kings”, “Temple of Queen Hatshepsut”, “Memnon Colossi”, and pretty enough time in case you would like to enjoy a different activity “Hot Air Balloon ride”; drifting over Luxor for 45 minutes to get an exceptional view of the city; old schools & the Mighty Nile. Afternoon transfer to the train station in Luxor and enjoy the ride back to Cairo.

Day 9: Khan El Khalili Bazaar
Arrive in Cairo & transfer to your hotel. Morning time will be free at leisure. In the Afternoon will arrange a complimentary tour at the Khan El-Khalili area to enjoy exploring the oldest market in Egypt where the leather makers, tent makers, customs of belly dancers & Galabiyas are. Take a drink at one of the coffee shops, or get your favorite Shisha flavor. Ladies you can get altered tattoos or as we call it in Arabic “Egyptian Henna”. Never turn off your cameras! Lots and lots of moments to capture… Transfer back to the hotel overnight.

Day 10: Departure Cairo
