After that, you’ll return to your hotel for the night.

Day 2: Discover Egypt’s Riches of Ancient Relics

Enjoy your breakfast and check out from the hotel on the second day of your Egypt Easter excursion, then join your private tour guide to experience the treasures of ancient Egypt, beginning with:

Giza Pyramids Complex

The Giza pyramids complex will be in your presence; the complex has been around for 4000 years, making it one of the world’s oldest constructions. The Giza complex includes three major pyramids, six smaller pyramids, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple’s everlasting preservation site.

The Great Pyramid of Giza

The enormous pyramid of Khufu, which is recognized for being the last surviving monument of the ancient world’s seven wonders, is located amidst the skies of heaven. It is more than 4500 years old, making it the world’s oldest enigma due to the fringe hypotheses surrounding its origin and its intricate interior in comparison to its size. It was built in 2580 BC over a 20-year period using 2,300,000 pieces of 2.5-ton limestone and a workforce of 100,000 free skilled workers, resulting in a height of 147 meters (481 feet), making it the world’s tallest building for 3800 years until the construction of the Lincoln Cathedral in England in 1311.

The Great Sphinx of Giza

The great sphinx is one of the most enigmatic artifacts in the world; it is shaped like a mythological monster known as the sphinx, which has the body of a lion and the head of a man thought to be king Khafre, and it represents power and knowledge. It’s called Abu al-Hawl, which means “The Father of Terror” in Arabic. The sphinx is 73 meters (240 feet) tall and 19 meters (66 feet) wide and was carved out of a single limestone boulder.

The Valley Temple is a Buddhist temple located in the valley of

The Valley Temple, which was built during Egypt’s ancient monarchy (2686-2134 BC) inside the complex, is where the mummification process takes place. It is one of the best-preserved archaeological sites of ancient Egyptian civilization and a wealth of knowledge about ancient Egyptian mummification.

After that, go to a local Cairo restaurant for lunch. After that, we’ll go to see:

The Egyptian Museum

The Egyptian Museum has the world’s biggest collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities and monuments, some of which date back over 4000 years. Over 150,000 artifacts are housed within the two-story structure, ranging from extravagant materials such as gold and gemstones to ordinary materials such as wood or stone in the form of statues, and funerary objects such as King Tutankhamun’s treasures, the Narmer palette, Papyrus, and countless others. There are also a handful of well-known mummies that provide insight into ancient Egyptian thought.

Finally, you’ll travel to Cairo airport, get a flight to Luxor, and settle into a 5-star hotel for the night.

Day 3: Visit Luxor to see the Ancient Gems in all their glory.

On day three, you will have breakfast at the hotel before continuing your Easter vacation in Egypt by seeing all of the notable Luxor tourist sites, such as:

The Kings’ Valley

The Valley of the Kings is a time capsule in the heart of the sacred mountain that has served as the last resting place for Egypt’s new kingdom’s finest kings and queens (1570-1070 BC). It contains 63 tombs containing enchanted treasures, artifacts, statues, hypnotically beautiful decorations, and the remains of pharaohs such as Rameses (I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X), Amenhotep I, Hatshepsut, and the famous King Tutankhamun, all of which led to the valley being designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979

Temple of Hatshepsut

The Hatshepsut Temple is known as Luxor’s most beautiful structure; it was given the name Djoser-Djeseru (Holy of Holies) and displays the strength and will of Queen Hatshepsut, one of ancient Egypt’s most successful rulers. The temple was conceived in 1479 BC and built during a 15-year period. The temple’s architecture is based on the new kingdom’s Classical Architecture philosophy, and the temple houses some of Egypt’s most stunning sculptures, decorations, and antiques.

Memnon’s Colossi

The Colossi of Memnon are unique among Upper Egypt’s monuments; they are renowned as the enormous guardians of Luxor. They are two gigantic slabs of quartzite sandstone, each weighing 720 tonnes and shaped like Pharaoh Amenhotep III. They stand at a height of 18 m (60 ft) and have the form of Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386-1350). A huge earthquake in 27 BC wrecked the colossi, but they were reconstructed around 199 AD.

Then go to an island for lunch, so your tour includes a Nile River boat ride followed by a visit to:

Karnak Temple is a temple in Karnak, Egypt.

The Karnak Temple, also known as Ipet-isu, is one of the holiest destinations on the earth. The Most Selected Of Places and Pr-Imn House Of Amon, which dates back over 4000 years and is the world’s largest religious man-made structure as well as the world’s largest open-air museum. For more than 1500 years, it was the center of religious worship for the entire ancient Egyptian kingdom, dedicated primarily to the Theban triad, which included God Amun, his wife the Goddess of Justice Mut, and his son the moon god Khnsou, as well as other gods such as the great Osiris, Montu, Ptah, and Isis.

Your hotel will be your home for the night.

Day Four: Unleash Your Spirit in Aswan’s Scenic Wonders

You will have breakfast and check out of your Luxor hotel to begin your Egypt easter holiday by boarding a 1*class train to Aswan, where you will meet your private Egyptologist tour guide and visit all of Aswan’s famous sights, including:

High Dam of Aswan

The High Dam, which was built between 1960 and 1970 under President Gamal Adel-rule, Nasser’s depicts the contemporary strength of Aswan. The dam was built in collaboration with the Moscow-based Hydro Project Institute to improve Nile flooding management, generate hydropower, and boost water storage for agriculture in its reservoir lake Nasser.

The Unfinished Obelisk

The incomplete obelisk was ordered by Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC) to stand at the entrance of the Karnak temple, but it was regrettably left unfinished. It was called “Tekhenu,” which means “to pierce the sky,” and it stood 42 meters tall and weighed 1200 tonnes, demonstrating how obelisks were built from the ground up and the ancient Egyptian building style. Unfortunately, the obelisk was shattered during construction and has remained in place to this day.

You will have lunch at a local restaurant in Aswan before finishing the day by visiting:

Temple of Philae

The Philea Temple in Aswan is the epitome of myth, appeal, and beauty; it is renowned for propagating the “Myth of Osiris,” in which Isis’ husband “Osiris” is slain by his brother. Set is defeated by Isis and Osiris Son Hours the sky God, ending an era of tyranny and injustice. Osiris is revived to be the king of the underworld, following which Set is defeated by Isis and Osiris’ Son Hours the sky God, ending an age of tyranny and injustice.

The temple was transported to the island of Agilkia in the 1960s as part of a UNESCO-led rescue operation after the building of the Aswan High Dam.

After that, you’ll check into a 5* hotel in Aswan for the night.

Day 5: Marvel at Abu Simbel’s magnificence

You will check out of the hotel and get your breakfast boxes before departing in a private air-conditioned vehicle with your private tour guide to Abu Simbel.

Temples of Abu Simbel

Since its construction by King Ramses II (1279-1213 BCE) during the new kingdom to immortalize his legacy till the end of time, the two colossal temples of Abu Simbel have served as the last boundary and protector of the southern border. This temple embodies the ultimate notion of magnificence and splendor in every way. The temple was known as the “Temple of Ramesses, Amun’s Favorite.”

The sun festival takes place on the 22nd of February and the 22nd of October each year when the sun shines on the faces of the four sitting statues of Ramses II, Ptah (God of Creation), Amun (The Creator God), and Ra (Sun God), while the smaller temple is devoted to his wife Queen Nefertari.

Finally, return to Aswan for lunch before boarding your flight to Cairo and transferring to your accommodation for the night.

What People Say About Us
5/5

Thank you Egypt Fun Tours for a most memorable trip. I admit I didn’t do any of the planning (it was all done by my boyfriend) but as you can read in the reviews below Hani (the owner of Egypt Fun Tours) is superbly organized and accommodating with scheduling.

My boyfriend and I, and our dearest mutual friend, booked the 7Days-6Nights tour. In short time, we visited Cairo, Aswan, and Luxor sailing down the down the Nile, pit stopping to see key sites at these location – and so much more!!! We got to know the ancient and modern egypt in depth thanks to Hani’s impressive knowledge. He also enlightened us on the people and their beliefs and went as far as showing us what a typical life looks like. I cannot express the level of personalized service Hani offered us. He was flexible to adapt to our requirements and added sites to our schedule that was not part of the tour simply to ensure we were 100% satisfied with our experience in Egypt.

I went to Egypt practically blind-folded, not knowing what to expect, especially considering the time we had decided to go (December 2020 – we were the first group that Hani met with after months of having to put his tour agency on hold considering the pandemic) yet he managed to surpass all of our expectations. I felt so incredibly lucky for us to have stumbled on Hani. I would recommend Egypt Fun Tours to anyone and everyone. It was truly, HANDS DOWN, the best cultural experience I’ve ever had. You’ll be in the best of hands.

Hamada was incredible! So knowledgeable and kind. He had information about every item, street corner, and relic we looked at. Any questions we had, he had answers! He even made sure to give us tips while walking through the crowds so that’s we would feel more comfortable when being approached by vendors. Oh and the food?! He took us to the best places! Delicious food!! We tried Egyptian fried chicken, falafel for the first time, the best shawarma in the city (we love food). We even got to meet his beautiful wife and children and try some “French” Egyptian coffee in their home! Truly made friends for life!! We’ve promised to host him and the family when they travel to America for the first time! Such an incredible experience, and Hamada (and family) made it that much more memorable and amazing!

Excellent trip to historic sites with no one else around. We came to see Egypt while most places still had COVID19 fears. The staff at Egypt Fun Tours were professional, safe, and great to deal with. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and entertaining. I feel like I just got a a year of Egyptology in the last week and we had all the sites to ourselves due to COVID19. While people are shutting down and staying home you should feel safe to come explore with Egypt Fun Tours and have the place to yourself.
