All that is currently required of travelers is an Egypt e-Visa; the COVID-19 criteria for entry into Egypt, together with the additional rules and restrictions for visitors, have been deleted. In addition, passing a negative PCR test or filling out a passenger location form is no longer required in order to enter Egypt.

Important Information for Travelers

You must follow all health precautions during your trip. You can get a PCR test upon arrival at Cairo International Airport. The test result must be a printed, signed, and stamped document.

Transit passengers must also have a negative PCR test, even if their final destination doesn’t require one. However, if you are only transiting through Cairo International Airport without a hotel stay, you do not need a test unless your final destination requires it.
