Itinerary of the 10 Days Egypt Deluxe Tour

Day 1: Arrival at Cairo Airport

A representative from “Egypt Fun Tours” can help you with passport control procedures, baggage identification, and portage when you arrive at Cairo airport. You will be driven to your hotel for check-in in a private A/C vehicle from the airport. After picking you up from your hotel in the evening for a dinner cruise that includes a vibrant belly dance performance with a folklore band that features the iconic Tannoura spin in line with Egypt’s whirling dervishes’ heritage, you will be driven back to your hotel for the night.

Day 2: Visit Memphis City and the Pyramids of Giza

After breakfast in the morning, begin your 10-day Egypt trip with your Egyptologist tour guide by seeing some of the most popular Cairo tourist spots, beginning with:

Giza Pyramids Complex

Six smaller pyramids, the large sphinx, the Valley Temple, and three major pyramids make up the complex. The structure is 2400 years old, from the 4th dynasty.

The Great Pyramid

The Great Pyramid, which belonged to “King Khufu,” is the only one of the three pyramids on the Giza plateau still standing and is the oldest and greatest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The Great Pyramid is 147 meters tall, was erected over 20 years ago, and 2,300,000 stones were utilized in its construction.

The Great Sphinx

With dimensions of 73 meters long, 19 meters broad, and 20 meters high, the magnificent Sphinx, which belonged to “King Chephren,” is the biggest statue in the world. The monument has the earliest known sculpture in it.

The Valley Temple

There is just one extant ancient Egyptian granite funerary temple on the Giza plateau, and it was used for mummification.

After eating lunch with a view of the Pyramids or the Nile, go on to:

Step Pyramid of Saqqara

It was built during the time of King Djoser, who governed Egypt in the 27th century B.C., and is regarded as the oldest significant example of cut stone architecture. The step pyramid is 6 steps high and is constructed by stacking them on top of one another.

City of Memphis

The first capital of all of Egypt established by King Menes, it had a key location between Upper and Lower Egypt. Ptah, the creator deity, and guardian of art was said to be watching over Memphis.

Finally, we return you to your Cairo hotel where you will spend the night.

Day 3: Fly to Aswan, see the city’s attractions, and board the ship:

Enjoy your breakfast and check out of your Cairo hotel. We will then drive you to the airport so you can board your flight to Aswan. When you arrive, meet with our tour guide and begin the second leg of your 10-day Egypt trip by viewing the following sights in Aswan:

The High Dam

It was erected over the Nile River at Aswan between 1960 and 1970, and its construction had a tremendous impact on Egypt’s economy and culture.

The Unfinished Obelisk

the biggest obelisk from antiquity. The Lateran Obelisk, which was initially at Karnak and then transported to the Lateran Palace in Rome, was ordered by Queen Hatshepsut (1508 1458 BC) to complement it.

Temple of Philae

Temple at Philae to the goddess Isis of Love and Beauty. As part of the UNESCO Nubia Campaign initiative, the temple complex was disassembled and moved to the adjacent island of Agilkia Island to safeguard it and other sites before the Aswan High Dam was finished in 1970.

After a delicious lunch, you will be moved to a 5-star luxury Nile cruise where you will spend the night.

Visit the Kom Ombo Temple on day four.

Following a delicious breakfast aboard the ship, join your tour guide to learn:

Temple of Kom Ombo

The Kom Ombo Temple, which has a view of the Nile, is split into two temples, each having its entrance, Hypostyle Hall, and sanctuaries.

Return to your ship for lunch and an overnight stay.

Day 5: See the Edfu Temple

Enjoy the cruise’s breakfast before joining our tour guide to see:

Temple in Edfu

Honoring the god Horus. The Edfu Temple is the most well-preserved Greco-Roman structure in all of Egypt, and a “Play” depicting Horus’ victory over the malevolent deity Seth is painted on its walls.

Sail to Luxor after enjoying your lunch on board, arriving late at night, and spending the night on board.

Day 6: Excursion to Luxor attractions

After breakfast on the ship, check out and go to Luxor with our Egyptologist tour guide in a private air-conditioned car to see the following tourist attractions:

The Kings’ Valley

The Valley of the Kings contains the graves of Egypt’s kings from the 18th to the 20th dynasties, including the renowned pharaoh Ramses II and young Tutankhamun. The tombs were fully furnished with everything a monarch may want in the afterlife in terms of material things. The majority of the tomb decorations are still in good condition.

Temple of Hatshepsut

One of the most stunning and well-preserved of all the ancient Egyptian temples is the Hatshepsut Temple. The temple was constructed on three levels, connected by two large ramps in the middle.

Memnon’s Colossi

Only two enormous stone sculptures of King Amenhotep III survive in a funerary temple that was once completely constructed. The sculptures are constructed from quartzite sandstone stones that were originally found in Cairo and transported 700 km to Luxor.

Eat lunch at a top-notch Egyptian restaurant before continuing your tour:

Temple of Karnak

The Karnak temple is the most spectacular landmark in Egypt. It is the biggest complex of temples ever constructed by humans. It stands for the culmination of the work of countless pharaohs and ancient architects. Three major temples make up the Temple of Karnak, which is spread over 247 acres of land.

Transfer to a 5-star hotel in Luxor to check in and spend the night.

Day 7: flight from Luxor to Hurghada

On day 7 of your 10-day Egypt vacation, have breakfast, check out of the hotel in Luxor, and then drive to Hurghada, where you’ll spend the night at a 5-star hotel. From there, you can enjoy the third leg of your trip, which includes some leisure time in Hurghada, the Red Sea.

Day 8: Hurghada Scuba Diving Trip

After eating breakfast, go snorkeling in the Red Sea and take in the fascinating underwater world in this serene sanctuary. Return to your hotel room to spend the night.

Day 9: Cairo Monuments Tour

Enjoy your hotel breakfast in the morning, then check out and go to the airport to board your flight to Cairo, where you will continue your 10-day trip to Egypt by seeing the sights of Old Cairo, beginning with:

The Egyptian Museum

A unique collection of artwork from the last 5000 years is on display at the Egyptian Museum. There are approximately 250,000 authentic relics from ancient Egypt on display, including a display of the gold, jewels, and treasures that Tutankhamun collected and kept in his tomb for more than 3,500 years.

In Cairo, lunch will be provided in a neighborhood eatery before visiting:

Citadel of Salah El Din

Cairo Citadel is a majestic stronghold that formerly served as Egypt’s capital until the year 1860. It was built under Salah ad-Din’s rule. The building project began in 1176 and was finished in 1182.

Mosque of Mohamed Ali

The mosque, which was built between 1830 and 1848, was given the nickname “The Alabaster Mosque” because the majority of its walls were composed entirely of pure alabaster. The Blue Mosque in Istanbul is modeled on the Mohamed Ali Mosque.

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) is a technologically sophisticated organization that presents Egypt’s historical and cultural treasures in the best possible light. It is the first museum in the Arab world and North Africa that specializes in the more than 4,000-year-old ancient Egyptian Civilization and all of its varied and rich historical eras.

Market in Khan El Khalili

The oldest and most renowned market in the Middle East, Khan El-Khalili, must be visited on every trip to Cairo. It was built around 970 AD, the same year Cairo was established.

We will transport you to your hotel in Cairo for the night after the day.

Alexandria! Wow!

November 7, 2024

Muhammad is the best! He showed me a world I never thought possible! The tombs in Alexandria by far was my favorite! I never knew there was a place on earth that contained both Greek and Egyptian carvings in the same tombs! The history and culture of Egypt is so fascinating! I highly recommend booking with Muhammad!

AMAZING TOUR, SOLO TRAVELER.

October 12, 2024

I am a California woman who traveled to Egypt alone and thanks to Egypt Fun Tours I had a great time. Hani, Mohammed, Kamal and David (my driver) were very professional and very knowledgeable, I appreciate how respectful they were and how protective they were with me.

They show me everything I wanted to see in Cairo and nearby places like Saqqara, Memphis, etc. Thanks to them I had a great time in Egypt, they were so so helpful than on my second day they helped me to move from my hotel in Giza to the Steigenberger hotel in downtown Cairo.

The tour price is super good includes a guide (expert in the field) a driver, lunch and drinks, they took me to amazing places for lunch, the food was super super delicious, for a foodie like me that was a highlight. We went out fo the tourist traps and I got to see the Cairo that if you are in a bus tour you will never get to see.

This tour is personalized for each person depending of what you want to see and do, I absolutely love it.

I used WhatsApp to communicate with Hani and arranged all my tours, Hani was super super nice since the moment I contacted him and explained him what I wanted to do and see.

Hani and his group mesmerized me with the tours they put together, this is a memory I will keep for lifetime.

I had only good things to say about them and I highly recommend them.

I did visit the pyramids in Giza, downtown Cairo, new Cairo, several museums, Coptic Cairo and Muslim Cairo with them and I learned a lot from them, I felt like they were family to me and it was EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT.

If I go back to Egypt I will hire them again without hesitation.

David I take my hat off for you because I have NO IDEA how you can drive in crazy Cairo, thanks to all of you for making this lady’s dream a reality.
