Day 1: Arrival in the Land of Civilization
Upon arrival to Cairo airport, the “Egypt Fun Tours” representative will assist you through passport control formalities, luggage identification & portage will greet you.
From the airport, you will be transferred by a private A/C car to your hotel for checking in.
Evening time, we will pick you up from your hotel to start your Christmas experience in Egypt with a Dinner Cruise where you will sit back and relax while you enjoy a colorful belly dancing show with a folklore band, featuring the unforgettable Tannoura spin, in keeping with Egypt’s whirling dervishes tradition.
You will be transferred back to your hotel overnight.

Giza Pyramids Complex
The complex includes three main pyramids, six little pyramids, the great sphinx, and the Valley Temple. The complex dates back to the 4th dynasty 2400 years B.C.
The Great Pyramid
The Great Pyramid belongs to “King Khufu“, it’s the oldest and largest of the three Pyramids of the Giza plateau and the only one to remain intact from the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. The height of the Great Pyramid is 147 m, the number of stones used in construction is 2,300,000 and it took twenty years to be built.
The Great Sphinx
The Great Sphinx belongs to “King Chephren” is the largest statue in the world, standing 73 m. long, 19 m. wide, and 20 m in height. It is the oldest known monumental sculpture.
The Valley Temple
A Granite mortuary temple was used by Ancient Egyptians for the mummification process and this is the only remaining one at the Giza plateau.

Saqqara Step Pyramid
It is considered to be the earliest large-scale cut stone construction, it dates back to the reign of King Djoser who ruled Egypt during the 27th century B.C. The Step Pyramid consists of 6 steps built atop one another with a height of 62 m.
Memphis City
The 1st capital of Egypt founded by King Menes, occupied a strategic position between Upper & Lower Egypt. Memphis was believed to be under the protection of the god Ptah, the god of creation and artworks.

Day 3: Lose Yourself Down the Beauty of Aswan

The High Dam
It was built across the Nile River at Aswan and was constructed between 1960 and 1970, it has had a significant effect on the economy and culture of Egypt.
The Unfinished Obelisk
The largest obelisk in ancient times. It was ordered by Queen Hatshepsut (1508 1458 BC) to complement the Lateran Obelisk (which was originally at Karnak) and was later brought to the Lateran Palace in Rome.
Philae Temple
The Philae temple is dedicated to the goddess Isis of Love and beauty. The temple complex was dismantled and relocated to nearby Agilkia Island as part of the UNESCO Nubia Campaign project, protecting this and other complexes before the 1970 completion of the Aswan High Dam.

Valley of the Kings
The final resting place of Egypt’s rulers from the 18th to the 20th dynasty, Valley of the Kings is home to tombs including the great Pharaoh Ramses II and boy Tutankhamun. The tombs were well stocked with all the material goods a ruler might need in the next world. Most of the decorations inside the tombs are still well-preserved.
Hatshepsut Temple
Hatshepsut temple is one of the most beautiful & best preserved of all the Ancient Egyptian Temples. The temple was built on three levels with two wide ramps in a central position joining the levels together.
Colossi of Memnon
Two massive stone statues of King Amenhotep III are the only remains of a complete mortuary temple. The statues are made from blocks of quartzite sandstone which exist in Cairo and then moved 700 KM to Luxor.

Karnak Temple
No site in Egypt is more impressive than the Karnak temple. It is the largest temple complex ever built by man. It represents the combined achievement of many generations of ancient builders and Pharaohs. The Temple of Karnak is three main temples situated on 247 acres of land.

Day 7: Transfer From Luxor to Hurghada
On day 7 of your Egypt Christmas vacation, have your breakfast and check out from the hotel in Luxor, then transfer to Hurghada for overnight at 5* hotel to enjoy the third part of your journey, its recreational days in Hurghada Red Sea.
Day 8: Venture into the Beautiful Underwater World

The Egyptian Museum
The Egyptian Museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art. Over 250,000 genuine ancient Egyptian artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamun’s collection of treasure, gold, and jewelry which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Cairo then proceed to visit:
Salah El-Din Citadel
It served as Egypt’s seat of government till the 1860s, Cairo Citadel is a magnificent fortress. It was constructed during Salah ad-Din’s reign. The construction work started in 1176 and was completed in 1182.
Mohamed Ali Mosque
It was constructed between 1830 and 1848, the mosque was named “The Alabaster Mosque” because most of the walls were made out of pure alabaster. Mohamed Ali Mosque is a replica of the Blue Mosque in Istanbul.
The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization
The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) is a magical gate leading to the immortal heritage that will shine brightly through the incredible artifacts and monuments that date to more than 4000 years revealing the tangible and intangible culture and history of Egypt’s endless heritage.
Khan El Khalili Bazaar
No visit to Cairo is complete without a stop at the Khan El-Khalili bazaar, the bazaar is the oldest and the most famous in the Middle East. It was constructed in 970 AD, the same year as the founding of Cairo.
