Day 1: Cairo Arrival: Welcome to Cairo! Your tour begins when you are greeted by our representative, who will assist you through immigration and customs formalities. After you have collected your luggage, he will then take you, in our deluxe vehicle, to your Cairo hotel.

Day 2: Cairo Sightseeing: Breakfast at the hotel is followed by a full-day tour. In the morning you will be driven to see the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx: the most famous monuments of not only ancient Egypt but of the entire ancient world!

These massive stone structures were built around 4,500 years ago on a rocky desert plateau close to the Nile. After lunch, at a local restaurant, you will be taken to Sakkara to see the very first pyramid ever built; the Step Pyramid of Djoser. You will also get the chance to see some fantastic mastabas, including the mastaba of Mereruka, the largest one built in ancient Egypt.

You will then be able to marvel at the Pyramid Texts inside the Pyramid of Teti before heading off to the ancient capital of Egypt: Memphis. The Colossus of Ramses II dominates the museum here; do not forget your camera! After this amazing trip through Egypt’s Pharaonic past, you will be driven back to your hotel.

Day 3: Cairo Sightseeing: Breakfast at the hotel is followed by another full-day tour, but this time you will spend the forenoon at the Egyptian Museum: gaze at the wonders of King Tutankhamen, including his golden death mask; staring upon the mummies of some of Egypt’s ancient pharaohs (optional); lose yourself in the many rooms and galleries, where thousands of artifacts are awaiting your visit.

After lunch, at a local restaurant, you will be taken to the Citadel of Saladin, the fortress built between 1176 and 1183 AD, to protect Cairo from the Crusaders and rebuilt by Muhammad Ali Pasha, whose mosque is a “must-see”.

From here you will be taken on a tour of Cairo’s famous Churches, including The Hanging Church and the Church of St. George the Martyr, 2 churches built into the walls of the Fort of Babylon and its remains could be Cairo’s oldest structures; the Church of Abu Serga (St. Sergius), where, it is said, the Holy Family took shelter in a cave, with the church being erected her to commemorate this.

This whole area is a world-famous destination for Pilgrims. Before being transferred back to your hotel you will have the opportunity to visit the old market of Cairo (Khan El-Khalili) to test your haggling skills.

Day 4: Nile Cruise: Aswan: After breakfast, you will check out and our representative will escort you to the airport for your flight to Aswan.

Upon arrival, you will be met and assisted by our representative who will transfer you to your cruise boat: your floating hotel for your next 4 days.

After lunch, you will be driven to see the High Dam, the world’s largest rock-filled dam, and the Temple of Philae moved to the island of Agilika after the waters of Lake Nasser flooded its original location. It is then back to Aswan to rejoin your cruise and as the Nile laps gently underneath you, dinner will be served.

Optional Trip:

You may choose to fly to Abu Simbel to see these marvelous temples, which were originally carved out of a rocky mountainside by Ramses II. You can either go by:

  • Flight: which costs $250 per person all-inclusive (flight duration 45 minutes each flight leg)
  • Coach: Which costs about $110 per person all-inclusive trip (duration 4 hours each way)

Day 5: Nile Cruise: Kom Ombo And Edfu: A new day and your first breakfast on board as the boat sails majestically towards Kom Ombo, where you will visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the gods Horus and Sobek.

After the visit, you will be taken back to the boat for your lunch while it sails onward to Edfu, home of the best-preserved temple in Egypt: the Temple of Horus. It is then back to the boat and you can watch as it departs Edfu and sails for Esna. Once you reach Esna you will watch as it sails through the Esna locks. Once through the locks, the boat continues on its course toward Luxor, which it will reach after you have had dinner.

Day 6: Nile Cruise: Luxor: Early breakfast and then it is time to visit the West Bank of Luxor: the tombs of the New Kingdom Pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings; the tombs of princes in the Valley of the Queens; the magnificent temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahri finishing with the immense Colossi of Memnon.

After lunch, which you will have onboard, you will visit the magnificent Karnak and Luxor Temples. Once your visit to these ancient Theban Temples is completed you return to the boat where your last dinner, upon this floating hotel, will be served.

Day 7: Hurghada: Your day starts with your last breakfast on the boat followed by checkout. Afterward, you will be driven, in our air-conditioned vehicle, to Hurghada, where you will check in at your hotel upon arrival. The rest of the day belongs to you, but there will be opportunities for snorkeling, diving, and other water sports activities.

Day 8: Hurghada: Hurghada: A full day for sunbathing, exploring, shopping, or taking up some of the many water sports activities that Hurghada has to offer

Day 9: Hurghada: Another full day of free time, perhaps some sunbathing, exploring, shopping, or taking up some of the many water sports activities that Hurghada has to offer

Day 10: Cairo: After breakfast, it is time to check out, and then you will be driven back to Cairo in our air-conditioned vehicle. Once back in Cairo, you will check in at the hotel and the rest of the day will be yours.

Day 11: Final Departure: Your final day starts with breakfast at the hotel followed by check-out. You will then be transferred to the airport for your final departure.

Alexandria! Wow!

November 7, 2024

Muhammad is the best! He showed me a world I never thought possible! The tombs in Alexandria by far was my favorite! I never knew there was a place on earth that contained both Greek and Egyptian carvings in the same tombs! The history and culture of Egypt is so fascinating! I highly recommend booking with Muhammad!

Despite a late start due to car trouble, Mohamed more than made up for it with his incredible knowledge and dedication. His explanations were detailed and thoughtful, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. A memorable and informative tour, thanks to Mohamed’s hard work!

AMAZING TOUR, SOLO TRAVELER.

October 12, 2024

I am a California woman who traveled to Egypt alone and thanks to Egypt Fun Tours I had a great time. Hani, Mohammed, Kamal and David (my driver) were very professional and very knowledgeable, I appreciate how respectful they were and how protective they were with me.

They show me everything I wanted to see in Cairo and nearby places like Saqqara, Memphis, etc. Thanks to them I had a great time in Egypt, they were so so helpful than on my second day they helped me to move from my hotel in Giza to the Steigenberger hotel in downtown Cairo.

The tour price is super good includes a guide (expert in the field) a driver, lunch and drinks, they took me to amazing places for lunch, the food was super super delicious, for a foodie like me that was a highlight. We went out fo the tourist traps and I got to see the Cairo that if you are in a bus tour you will never get to see.

This tour is personalized for each person depending of what you want to see and do, I absolutely love it.

I used WhatsApp to communicate with Hani and arranged all my tours, Hani was super super nice since the moment I contacted him and explained him what I wanted to do and see.

Hani and his group mesmerized me with the tours they put together, this is a memory I will keep for lifetime.

I had only good things to say about them and I highly recommend them.

I did visit the pyramids in Giza, downtown Cairo, new Cairo, several museums, Coptic Cairo and Muslim Cairo with them and I learned a lot from them, I felt like they were family to me and it was EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT.

If I go back to Egypt I will hire them again without hesitation.

David I take my hat off for you because I have NO IDEA how you can drive in crazy Cairo, thanks to all of you for making this lady’s dream a reality.
