4 Days Deluxe Tour of Cairo and Alexandria itinerary

Day 1: Entry into Egypt: Our “Egypt Fun Tours” agent will assist you in completing all passport check procedures as well as the identification and carrying of your baggage as soon as you arrive at Cairo airport. You will start your four-day Cairo and Alexandria itinerary with a dinner cruise on the soulful Nile as you get to unwind and enjoy a vibrant belly dancing show with a folklore band that performs the unforgettable Tannoura spin in keeping with Egypt’s whirling dervishes tradition.

At the conclusion, you will transfer back to your hotel for the night. From the airport, you will be transferred by a private air-conditioned car to your five-star hotel for checking in.

Day 2: Visit the Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum: After eating breakfast in the early morning, you’ll meet your private tour guide to see some of human history’s biggest structures, including one of the Seven Wonders of the World: the Great Pyramid.

Egyptian Pyramids in Giza: One of the world’s oldest structures, the Giza Pyramids Complex is made up of three major pyramids, six smaller ones, the huge sphinx, which served as the nation’s lone guardian, and the valley temple, which was used to preserve the cultural legacy of the kings and queens for endless centuries. The complex is regarded as one of the top tourist destinations in Egypt.

The Great Pyramid: It is one of the oldest and biggest buildings in the whole modern world since it is the final remaining piece of one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Due to its complicated interior relative to its size, the Great Pyramid is shrouded in enigmas and far-fetched speculations.

It was the first of its sort and the catalyst for Ancient Egypt’s golden period of building, dating to 2580 BC, making it more than 4500 years old. With a staff of 100,000 free skilled employees and 2,300,000 pieces of limestone, each weighing 2.5 tonnes, it was constructed in 20 years. Its height of 147 meters (481 feet) made it the highest structure in the world for 3800 years until the Lincoln Cathedral in England was built in 1311.

The Great Sphinx: The oldest statue in history is known as Abu Al-Hawl, which is Arabic for “The Father of Terror.” It is shaped after the mythological monster known as the Sphinx, which has the body of a lion and the head of a man, most likely King Khafre, as a sign of strength and knowledge. Even now, there are still many mysteries and unresolved questions surrounding the Sphinx, thus it continues to inspire innumerable visitors, poets, and adventurers. It was cut out of single limestone rock and measures 73 meters (240 feet) and 19 meters (66 feet) in height.

The Valley Temple: It is where the ancient kingdom’s mummification practice was first practiced (2686 2134 BC). It is composed completely of limestone and granite and has amazing diorite sculptures of Chephren. It is one of the best-preserved buildings from the ancient Egyptian civilization.

After eating lunch at a neighborhood eatery in Cairo, continue your journey by touring:

The Egyptian Museum: It is situated in the center of Cairo and has the largest collection of exquisite, rare ancient Egyptian artifacts and monuments that date back more than 4,000 years, from all different historical eras, including ancient Egyptian, Greek, Coptic, and Islamic.

In the shape of sculptures, jewelry, and funerary goods like the treasures of King Tutankhamun, the Narmer palette, Papyrus, and numerous others, there are more than 150,000 rare genuine manufactured from costly materials like gold or jewelry to simple ones like wood or stone.

We will transport you to the hotel for the night at the conclusion of the day.

Day 3: A wonderful trip to Alexandria: Following breakfast, you will travel to Alexandria, a gem of the Mediterranean Sea where charm and wonder radiate in a really wonderful way, to see its tourist attractions, beginning with:

Kom El Shoqafa’s catacombs: The Necropolis, an ancient Egyptian monument from the second century AD, is one of Egypt’s most distinctive structures because it successfully merged Roman and Hellenistic aesthetic influences with Pharaonic Egyptian architecture. It was named one of the seven marvels of the Middle Ages because it has many magnificent items and décor over its three levels.

returning to the surface, continue your journey by going to:

Pompey’s Pillar: The biggest monolithic column ever constructed outside of Rome, it is made of solid red granite and is 28 meters tall by 2.7 meters broad. On its western top side is a Greek inscription honoring Emperor Diocletian. Because the Crusaders thought in error that the renowned Roman leader Pompey’s bones were kept in a jar at the very top of the pillar, it was given the name Pompey’s Pillar.

Citadel of Qaitbay: The Mediterranean Sea is the best illustration of its beauty and power. It was built in 1477 by Sultan Al-Ashraf Sayf Al-Din Qa’it Bay on top of the fabled lighthouse of Alexandria, which was the third-longest-lasting ancient marvel until it was destroyed by earthquakes between 956 AD and 1323 AD. The Qaitbay Citadel is well-known because it has amazing Islamic-era decorations and some people think it carries the eternal brilliant spirit of the Alexandria Lighthouse.

You will stop for lunch at a seafood restaurant before continuing your adventure by visiting:

Alexandria Library: It serves as a tribute to the historic Alexandria Library and is one of the largest and most sophisticated libraries in the world. It is well known for being the sixth-largest library for Francophones in the world. The library is trilingual since it has volumes in Arabic, English, and French. It also has the greatest collection of French-language literature in North Africa and the Middle East, as well as some of the rarest books on the planet.

We will return you to your hotel in Cairo for the night at the conclusion of the day.

Day 4: Complete Your 4 Days Deluxe Tour of Cairo and Alexandria: Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a drive to the airport and assistance with any last departure requirements to bring your four-day trip to Cairo and Alexandria to a close.

Alexandria! Wow!

Muhammad is the best! He showed me a world I never thought possible! The tombs in Alexandria by far was my favorite! I never knew there was a place on earth that contained both Greek and Egyptian carvings in the same tombs! The history and culture of Egypt is so fascinating! I highly recommend booking with Muhammad!

AMAZING TOUR, SOLO TRAVELER.

October 12, 2024

I am a California woman who traveled to Egypt alone and thanks to Egypt Fun Tours I had a great time. Hani, Mohammed, Kamal and David (my driver) were very professional and very knowledgeable, I appreciate how respectful they were and how protective they were with me.

They show me everything I wanted to see in Cairo and nearby places like Saqqara, Memphis, etc. Thanks to them I had a great time in Egypt, they were so so helpful than on my second day they helped me to move from my hotel in Giza to the Steigenberger hotel in downtown Cairo.

The tour price is super good includes a guide (expert in the field) a driver, lunch and drinks, they took me to amazing places for lunch, the food was super super delicious, for a foodie like me that was a highlight. We went out fo the tourist traps and I got to see the Cairo that if you are in a bus tour you will never get to see.

This tour is personalized for each person depending of what you want to see and do, I absolutely love it.

I used WhatsApp to communicate with Hani and arranged all my tours, Hani was super super nice since the moment I contacted him and explained him what I wanted to do and see.

Hani and his group mesmerized me with the tours they put together, this is a memory I will keep for lifetime.

I had only good things to say about them and I highly recommend them.

I did visit the pyramids in Giza, downtown Cairo, new Cairo, several museums, Coptic Cairo and Muslim Cairo with them and I learned a lot from them, I felt like they were family to me and it was EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT.

If I go back to Egypt I will hire them again without hesitation.

David I take my hat off for you because I have NO IDEA how you can drive in crazy Cairo, thanks to all of you for making this lady’s dream a reality.
