4 Days White Desert & Wadi El-Hitan Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Cairo-Bahariyya:

After Breakfast. 7:00 is an early start to Bahariya Oasis ( 365 K.M) 4 hours drive. Arrive at Bahariya Oasis, Bawiti Center of Bahariya. Lunch in a local restaurant. Check in the hotel & take a rest. Visit Bahariya sightseeing such as the golden mummies museum & the nobles’ tombs of the 26th dynasty. Transfer with our jeep safari to see hot & cool springs, the gardens, the farms, the biggest lake in the oasis, Bedouin houses, Jabal el-dest (Pyramid Mountain), and climb to English mountain the highest point there to see the sunset. Transfer back to your hotel. Optional stop at a local cafe to drink tea. Dinner & Overnight in the hotel.

Day 2: White Desert Camp – Bahariyya:

Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer with our Jeep Safari to Al-Haiz, on the way we see sand dunes, Algabal Almarsous & the black desert(climbing one of the mountains there for the best view). Lunch in El-Haiz (this village is 40km from Bawiti center of Bahariya). On the way to the white desert, we stop many times to see the crystal mountain(the beginning of the white desert park), the Ashgabat area, the natural curving-like tents, the mushroom formations, and the Malachite valley. Arrive at the white desert waiting for the sunset. Enjoy the wonderful atmosphere waiting for your dinner to be prepared by the Bedouin guys. Barbeque dinner under the stars. You will get to taste the Bedouin tea. Overnight camp.

Day 3: White Desert-ElBawiti-Wadi Hitan:

Early wake up for Sunrise. After breakfast at the white desert, we start the trip with a jeep safari back to Bawiti. Stop at the hotel for a quick shower & change clothes (if needed). Transfer to Wadi Hitan through the desert with a stop at Wadi El Sant (Acacia Valley) & Wadi Hian Panorama with a stop on the way to have lunch. Arrive at Wadi El-Hitan to start the tour to the Fossils and climate change museum, as well as the open Museum of the Whales Fossils. Enjoy the atmosphere while barbecue dinner is prepared. Dinner & Overnight. Have you ever tried sleeping on the ocean bed? With Egypt Fun you will do at Hitan on the floor of the ancient Tethys Sea that covered this area many millions of years ago.

Day 4: Time: 6:00 am: Wadi El-Rayyan-Fayoum:

Sunrise & breakfast. Start the trip to Wadi El-Rayyan with a stop in Mudawara Mountain (The magnificent spot overlooks the beautiful landscape below where deep blue waters meet the golden yellow sands. Visit Wadi El-Rayyan Protected Area where there is so much to see(the two lakes, waterfalls & birds). The most memorable is the spectacular scenery of Wadi El-Rayyan, the contrast between the blue waters of the lakes and the golden desert land. Continue to Lake Qarun (the third biggest lake in Egypt). Lunch on your own in a fish restaurant (lake view). Transfer back to Cairo.

I never knew there was a place on earth that contained both Greek and Egyptian carvings in the same tombs! The history and culture of Egypt is so fascinating! AMAZING TOUR, SOLO TRAVELER.

I am a California woman who traveled to Egypt alone and thanks to Egypt Fun Tours I had a great time. Hani, Mohammed, Kamal and David (my driver) were very professional and very knowledgeable, I appreciate how respectful they were and how protective they were with me.

They show me everything I wanted to see in Cairo and nearby places like Saqqara, Memphis, etc. Thanks to them I had a great time in Egypt, they were so so helpful than on my second day they helped me to move from my hotel in Giza to the Steigenberger hotel in downtown Cairo.

The tour price is super good includes a guide (expert in the field) a driver, lunch and drinks, they took me to amazing places for lunch, the food was super super delicious, for a foodie like me that was a highlight. We went out fo the tourist traps and I got to see the Cairo that if you are in a bus tour you will never get to see.

This tour is personalized for each person depending of what you want to see and do, I absolutely love it.

I used WhatsApp to communicate with Hani and arranged all my tours, Hani was super super nice since the moment I contacted him and explained him what I wanted to do and see.

Hani and his group mesmerized me with the tours they put together, this is a memory I will keep for lifetime.

I had only good things to say about them and I highly recommend them.

I did visit the pyramids in Giza, downtown Cairo, new Cairo, several museums, Coptic Cairo and Muslim Cairo with them and I learned a lot from them, I felt like they were family to me and it was EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT.

If I go back to Egypt I will hire them again without hesitation.
