Detailed itinerary of the 5 Days Family Holiday in Egypt
Day 1: Arrive in Cairo and enjoy the Light and Sound Show: Our representative will help everyone with their papers and carry the bags when the family lands at the Cairo airport. After that, a private A/C vehicle will transport the whole family to their hotel in Cairo so they can check in and unwind.
The whole family may learn more about how the ancient Egyptian civilization sprang from the gorgeous waters of the Nile River by taking in the magnificent live performance of music and light at the Giza Complex at night. The whole family will have supper at a neighborhood eatery before spending the night at their hotel in Cairo.
Day 2: Visit the Giza Pyramids Complex: After breakfast, the whole family will go with their tour guide to learn:
Giza Pyramids Complex
The Giza Pyramid Complex is a treasure trove full of marvels that date back more than 4500 years, including:
The Great Pyramid
The Great Pyramid of Pharaoh Khufu is a magical living construct that was created by his vizier Hemiunu around 2600 BC to convince him to take his rightful position among the Egyptian gods. It is one of the tallest and largest structures on Earth, standing 147 meters (481 feet) tall and weighing up to 6 million tonnes.
The Great Sphinx
One of the largest and oldest monuments in the world, the magnificent Sphinx of Khafre (2558–2532 BC) also bears Khafre’s facial traits and the physical characteristics of a lion. It is a work of timeless art.
The Valley Temple
The Valley Temple is a strange structure that was built during the old kingdom (2686–2134 BC) to help royalty’s mummies get ready for the afterlife.
The whole family will have lunch at a magnificent restaurant with a view of the Pyramids and the Nile before traveling to:
The Egyptian Museum
The Egyptian Museum was created in 1901 as a wonderful treasure to preserve and display ancient Egyptian antiquities.
The whole family will then make the trip back to your accommodation in Cairo for the night.
Day 3: Visit the beautiful city of Aswan: After breakfast, the complete family will check out of their hotel in Cairo and go to the airport to board a flight to Aswan. Once there, they will all travel with their tour guide to experience the following:
High Dam at Aswan
The Aswan High Dam was built in the 1960s to effectively regulate, save, and transform the yearly floods while also generating power.
The Unfinished Obelisk
The majestic and exquisite Unfinished Obelisk was built for Queen Hatshepsut (1508–1458 BC) to serve as the principal entryway to the complex of Karnak Temples. It is 24 m tall, weighs 1200 tonnes, and was left at the bedrock as an open museum after being broken to reveal the ancient Egyptians’ stone-craving methods.
After eating lunch at a restaurant in Aswan, the family will go to:
Philae Temple
The Philae temple was moved to Agilkia Island by UNESCO in 1979 AD because it is associated with the mythical tale of Osiris. It was constructed in the Ptolemaic dynasty in the 7th century BC to highlight the enduring heritage of the goddess of motherhood, Isis.
The whole family makes reservations at a 5-star hotel for the night.
Day 4: Take a tour of the Great Abu Simbel Temples: The complete family will get their breakfast boxes in the early morning, and they will then go with their tour guide in a private AC vehicle to:
Abu Simbel Temples
Ramses the Great (1303–1213 BC) built the magnificent Temples of Abu Simbel in the third century BC during the New Kingdom to commemorate his accomplishments, including his victory in the Battle of Kadesh, which led to the signing of the first document of the peace treaty, celebrating the annual sun festival on February 22 and October 22 in honor of the Egyptian gods Amun, Ra Horakhty, and Ptah, and depicting his life and devotion to his wife Nefertari in the second term. The Abu Simbel Temple was relocated to a new site, much like the Philae Temple, to continue shining with knowledge and wonder.
After eating lunch together as a family, everyone will board a flight back to Cairo to spend the night.
