Beyond the Pyramids: Discover Egypt's Hidden Gems

Experience the wonders of ancient and modern Egypt with a 7-day tour of Cairo and Alexandria. This trip includes visits to Cairo’s attractions, a day trip to Alexandria, and an adventure to the El-Fayoum Oasis and Wadi El-Hitan. The tour starts with a pickup from Cairo International Airport.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Cairo Arrival

Meet, welcome, and assist with airport formalities. Transfer to your hotel and check in. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 2: Sphinx, Giza & Saqqara Pyramids

After breakfast, join your private tour guide to start your visit to The pyramids of Giza (the pyramids of kings Cheops, Chephren, Mekarynos, see the remains of the funeral temple of the same king, get inside one of the small pyramids of the Queens, and see the Sphinx). Egyptian Lunch in a countryside restaurant. Visit The pyramids of Saqqara ( The visual presentation of Sakkara, the step pyramid of king Djoser-the very first pyramid, the museum of Imhotep, the tomb of the high official Kagemni, the pyramid of king Titi, the pyramid of king Unas, and see the pyramids of Dahshur from a distance. Attend the sound and light show at the Giza area (optional). Transfer back to the hotel and overnight.

Day 3: Cairo – El-Fayoum Oasis

Breakfast at the hotel. Pick you up and start our trip to El-Fayoum oasis to see Qarun lake, Tunis village, Mudawara mountain, & Wadi El-Hitan. Transfer back to Cairo onto the hotel.

Day 4: Overnight Alexandria

After Breakfast at the hotel, pick up, and start our trip to Alexandria. Explore the catacombs, the Roman Amphitheater, Pompey’s Pillar, and Abul Abaas mosque. Seafood lunch, After lunch, we go to Faros Island to view the fort of Qaytbay. Transfer to Alexandria hotel, check in, and overnight.

Day 5: Alexandria – Cairo

After Breakfast in the hotel, start our tours to the Montazah palace & gardens. Explore the Alexandria library. Transfer back to Cairo, check in the hotel, and overnight.

Day 6: Cairo Sightseeing Tours

After breakfast at the hotel, pick up and start your tour to the Egyptian museum (more than 120,000 pieces from ancient Egypt, plus the amazing collection of king Tut Ankh Amen from the 18th dynasty, and the ancient mummies). Lunch would be in a tourist restaurant by the river Nile. Visit Islamic Cairo (the Citadel of Saladin, the alabaster mosque of Mohammed Ali, the Gawhara palace of Mohamed Ali, the mosque of Amr Ibn El-Aas the very first mosque built in Egypt. See Khan El-Khalili bazaar (where you can see the Al-Azhar mosque, and the very unique ancient Islamic streets and complex). Check-in your hotel Overnight.

Day 7: Cairo – Home

After breakfast transfer to Cairo airport for your final departure carrying your great memories from Egypt.
