8-Day Easter Holiday Itinerary
1st day: Arrival in Egypt
Upon arrival at Cairo airport, you will be greeted by our representative, who will assist with passport control and baggage claim. In the evening, enjoy a delightful dinner cruise on the Nile, featuring a colorful belly dance and a Tannoura show. Return to your hotel for the night.
2nd day: Discover Egypt’s Wonders
After breakfast and check-out, meet your private guide to explore:
- Giza Pyramids Complex: Home to three major pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple.
- The Great Pyramid of Giza: The last surviving wonder of the ancient world, built in 2580 BC.
- The Great Sphinx: A symbol of strength and knowledge, carved from limestone.
- The Valley Temple: A well-preserved site used for mummification.
Enjoy lunch at a restaurant with a view of the Pyramids. Next, visit:
- The Egyptian Museum: housing over 120,000 artifacts, including treasures of Tutankhamun.
Finally, transfer to Cairo airport for your flight to Aswan, where you will check into a 5-star Nile cruise for the night.
3rd day: Explore Aswan
After breakfast on the cruise, visit:
- High Dam of Aswan: A modern engineering marvel built to manage Nile flooding and generate electricity.
- Unfinished Obelisk: An incomplete monument that reveals ancient obelisk construction techniques.
- Temple of Philae: A key site in Egyptian mythology dedicated to Osiris.
Spend the night on board the cruise.
Day 4: Connect with Ancient Egypt
Enjoy breakfast, then head to:
- Temple of Kom Ombo: A unique temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus.
- Edfu Temple: One of the last temples built in ancient Egypt, dedicated to Horus, featuring exquisite architecture.
Continue sailing to Luxor, arriving late at night and staying on board.
5th day: Explore Luxor, the City of the 100 Gates
After breakfast, join your tour guide in a private air-conditioned car to explore Luxor’s main attractions:
- Valley of the Kings: The final resting place of Egypt’s pharaohs (1570-1070 BC), featuring 63 tombs filled with treasures and art, including that of Tutankhamun. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979.
- Temple of Hatshepsut: Known as Djoser-Djeseru, this temple, built in 1479 BC, showcases the grandeur of the New Kingdom and the vision of Queen Hatshepsut, featuring stunning architecture with three levels and magnificent sculptures.
After lunch at a local restaurant, visit:
- Colossi of Memnon: Two massive statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, standing 18 meters tall. Known for the legendary “Vocal Memnon,” which produced sounds at dawn due to the wind.
- Temple of Karnak: One of the largest religious structures in the world, dedicated to the Theban triad of gods. This temple complex has been a center of worship for over 1500 years.
End the day with a transfer to a 5-star hotel in Hurghada for the night.
6th day: Adventure in Hurghada
Spend the day in Hurghada after breakfast. Experience an exciting super safari tour by quad, followed by a delicious BBQ dinner. Return to your hotel for the night.
7th day: Enjoy the Beauty of the Red Sea
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and meet your private instructor for thrilling snorkeling and diving activities. Afterward, transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo.
Last day: End Your Easter Vacation in Egypt
On your final day, enjoy breakfast before being driven to the airport by our staff for your safe return home.
