Tour Itinerary

9-Day Egypt Highlights Tour Package Itinerary

1st day: Arrival in Cairo

Arrive at Cairo airport, where an Egypt Fun Tours representative will assist you with passport control and luggage. Transfer to your hotel for check-in and overnight stay.

2nd day: Cairo Pyramids Tour

After breakfast, visit the Pyramids of Giza, including the Great Pyramid of King Cheops and the Sphinx. Enjoy lunch at a countryside restaurant, then explore the Sakkara Pyramids and Memphis, the first capital of Egypt. Optional sound and light show at Giza. Overnight sleeper train to Aswan.

3rd day: Aswan Sightseeing

Breakfast on the train. Arrive in Aswan to visit the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk. Check in to your Nile cruise for lunch, followed by a felucca ride around Elephantine Island. Dinner and overnight on the cruise.

Day 4: Optional Abu Simbel Trip

Breakfast on the cruise. Optional early morning tour to Abu Simbel. Lunch on board, then sail towards Kom Ombo. Dinner and overnight on the cruise.

5th day: Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples

Breakfast on the cruise. Visit the Kom Ombo Temple, then take a horse carriage to the Edfu Temple. Lunch and dinner on board.

Day 6: Luxor Sightseeing

Breakfast on the cruise. Check out and visit the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch on your own, then explore Luxor Temple and Karnak Temples. Overnight sleeper train to Cairo.

7th day: Cairo Sightseeing

Breakfast on the train. Visit the Citadel of Saladin, Mohamed Ali Mosque, and Coptic Cairo sites. Lunch at a local restaurant, then explore the Egyptian Museum and Khan El-Khalili Bazaar. Overnight at your hotel.

8th day: Alexandria Trip

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Alexandria to see the Catacombs, Greek Amphitheater, and Bibliotheca of Alexandria. Enjoy a seafood lunch before returning to Cairo for an overnight stay.

Last day: Departure

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for your departure, concluding your Egypt tour.
