Amazing Cairo and Luxor Trip from Safaga Port

Discover the wonders of ancient and modern Egypt through this fascinating experience of Cairo and Luxor from Safaga Port Tour. We provide incredible two-day excursions from Safaga to Cairo and Luxor with private Egyptologist tour guides since visiting the wonderful attractions in Cairo and Luxor is a dream. Travel to the ancient city of Luxor after exploring the Pyramids of Giza and the Egyptian Museum to experience the adventure and learn about Egyptian mythology while admiring the magnificent temples and tombs there, such as Karnak, Queen Hatshepsut Temple, the Valley of the Kings, and don’t miss the Chondot Pyramid.

Day 1: Safaga to Cairo. See the Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum.

First, your Safaga to Cairo journey begins. We will pick you up at Safaga Port. Then, you will travel to Hurghada Airport for a flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will meet your Egyptologist tour guide. Next, you will explore Ancient Egypt, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

Pyramids of Giza

This complex includes the huge Sphinx, the Valley Temple, six smaller pyramids, and three large pyramids. Builders constructed the complex 2400 years ago during the Fourth Dynasty.

The Great Pyramid

King Khufu owns the Great Pyramid. It is the oldest and largest of the three Giza Plateau pyramids. Furthermore, it is the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still standing. Workers built the Great Pyramid over twenty years. It stands 147 meters tall. Its construction used 2,300,000 stones.

The Great Sphinx

King Chephren owns the Great Sphinx. It is the largest statue globally, measuring 73m by 19m by 20m. It is also the oldest known monumental sculpture.

The Valley Temple

This is the only surviving ancient Egyptian granite funerary temple on the Giza Plateau. Egyptians used it for mummification. Next, enjoy lunch at the Pyramids/Nile View restaurant. After lunch, the group moves on.

The Egyptian Museum

The Egyptian Museum displays a unique collection of 5000 years of artwork. The exhibition features over 250,000 authentic objects. This includes gold, jewelry, and treasures. Tutankhamun collected and kept these items in his tomb for over 3,500 years. In the evening, we will transport you to Cairo Airport. You will catch your flight to Luxor. In Luxor, we will meet you and take you to a 5-star hotel for the night.

Day 2: Return to Safaga after observing Luxor Landmarks.

After breakfast at your hotel, your tour continues. You will explore Luxor sites with your private tour guide.

The Kings’ Valley

This valley holds the tombs of Egypt’s kings. These include the famous Pharaoh Ramses II and the young pharaoh Tutankhamun. They ruled from the 18th to the 20th Dynasties. The tombs held many material possessions for a king’s afterlife. Most of the tomb’s interior design remains preserved.

Temple of Hatshepsut

This temple is one of Ancient Egypt’s most stunning and well-preserved. Builders constructed three floors. Two large ramps connected them in the middle.

The Memnon Colossi

These two enormous stone statues depict King Amenhotep III. They are the only remnants of an entire funeral temple. Workers constructed the statues from quartzite sandstone. They found the sandstone in Cairo. Then, they transported it 700 kilometers to Luxor. After that, proceed to an island for lunch. Your tour also includes a boat ride down the Nile River. You will visit:

Temple of Karnak

Karnak is Egypt’s most spectacular site. It is the largest temple complex ever built by humans. It represents the culmination of work from many generations of ancient builders and pharaohs. The Temple of Karnak includes three main temples. It covers a 247-acre plot of ground. Finally, we will return you to Safaga Port. You will travel in a luxury air-conditioned vehicle.

Superbly organized

I can’t recommend them enough. I got into Cairo on a 12-hour layover at 2:00 AM. By 3:15 Hani and his driver were meeting me at the airport. For the next five hours we strolled through lovely downtown Cairo & over the Nile, wandered through (friendly, well-organized) Tahrir Square, toured

Egypt Fun Tours – Does it All!

My husband and I visited Egypt in March 2013. First, let me say, ‘Go, go, go!’ – it’s safer and definitely friendlier than many places we’ve visited. Tourism is drastically down – thanks mostly to media misinformation – so it’s a great time to visit to avoid line-ups and crowds
