During your tour in Cairo, you will explore the Giza Pyramid Complex, the Dahshur Pyramids, the National Egyptian Museum, Muizz Street, the Hanging Church, and more. Additionally, you will visit Alexandria’s landmarks, the stunning Wadi El Hitan, and the Climate Change Museum.

5-Day UNESCO Tour Itinerary

Day One: Arrival in Cairo

Your legendary tour begins upon your arrival at Cairo Airport. Our professional staff will assist you with paperwork and formalities. Then, we will transfer you by our AC vehicle to your hotel to relax and spend the night in Cairo.

Day 2: The Enchanting Pyramids of Ancient Egypt

After breakfast, your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel. You will visit the Giza Pyramids Complex, home to the Great Pyramid of King Khufu, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant with a view of the pyramids, then continue to Memphis City, the first capital of Egypt, built by King Menes in 2925 BC.

Next, explore the Saqqara Step Pyramid, designed by Vizier Imhotep, and the Dahshur Pyramids, including the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid, both built for Pharaoh Sneferu. Return to your hotel in Cairo for the night.

Day 3: The Hidden Ancient World of Wadi El Hitan

Start your day with breakfast before heading to Wadi El Hitan, a UNESCO Natural World site in El Fayoum Oasis. Visit Qarun Lake, one of the oldest natural lakes in the world, and explore Tunis Village, known for its art galleries and pottery workshops. Next, visit Wadi El Rayyan, a protected nature reserve, before heading to Wadi El Hitan (Whale Valley), famous for its fossil remains of ancient whales. After your explorations, transfer back to Cairo for the night.

Day 4: The Rich Attractions of Alexandria

After breakfast, travel to Alexandria to explore its historical sites. Visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, a Roman burial site, and Pompey’s Pillar, an 82-foot granite column honoring Emperor Diocletian.

Next, explore the Qaitbay Citadel, a 15th-century fortress, and enjoy lunch at a seafood restaurant. Afterward, visit the Alexandria Library, which houses a copy of every book published in the world. Finally, return to Cairo and transfer to your hotel.

Day 5: Islamic Cairo Tour and Departure

Enjoy breakfast before concluding your tour in Islamic Cairo. Explore Al Muizz Street, known for its medieval Islamic architecture, and visit the Khan El Khalili Bazaar, a historic market filled with shops and cafes. After your tour, transfer to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight.
