Discover the wonders of ancient and modern Egypt in the bride of the Mediterranean through this magical Alexandria Tour from Cairo. From Cairo, a full-day excursion to Alexandria for sightseeing. Transfer from door to door. The Catacombs, the Roman Amphitheater, Pompey’s Pillar, the fort of Qaytbey, and the mosque of Abulabaas are all included in the tour. Lunch and admission fees are also included.

You will be picked up by our tour guide at 7:00 am in the early morning (please note: pick up can be any location address in Cairo or in Giza). Our private air-conditioned vehicle will pick you up to begin our journey along the desert road from Cairo to Alexandria (220 km).

To see the three leveled tombs from the Greek era in Egypt, keep going to the Catacombs. The Catacombs could hold 2,000 mummies, but they were found to be empty in 1900. Continue to Pompey’s Pillar, the tallest pillar that has ever existed, which formerly led ships into the port in ancient Egypt.

Continue our travels to the fort of Qaytbey to take in the Mediterranean and fishing views. Visit a nearby restaurant for a lunch of seafood. Following lunch, we continue our visits to the Abulabaas Mosque and Alexandria Library (outside view). Return to Cairo by transfer.
