The Archaeological Route: 7 Days Unlocking the Old Kingdom

Days 1-4: The Giza Necropolis and Architectural Evolution

Day 1 (Arrival & Giza View): Arrive in Cairo. Meet your guide. Check into your five-star hotel with a Pyramid view. Evening lecture by your Egyptologist on the historical context of the 4th Dynasty.
Day 2 (Giza Plateau Immersion): Full-day, in-depth Pyramids Archaeological Tour of the Giza Plateau. We focus on Khufu’s Boat, the Sphinx enclosure, and the often-missed areas around the funerary temples.
Day 3 (Dahshur & Engineering): Travel south to Dahshur. Study the architectural missteps and successes by examining the Bent and Red Pyramids. This provides critical insight into the evolution of pyramid construction leading up to Giza.
