Day Trip: El Gouna to Cairo by Bus
A representative will transfer you from your hotel to the El Gouna bus station. You will catch a first-class bus to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will meet your private tour guide, who will take you to discover one of Egypt’s most-visited attractions.
Giza Pyramids Complex
The extraordinary Giza Pyramids complex is a miracle from above. It came into existence during the Old Kingdom (2686–2134 BC). It contains divine wonders such as the three great pyramids of Giza, six smaller pyramids, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple.
The Great Pyramid
The Great Pyramid of Giza is the everlasting resting place of Pharaoh Khufu (2609–2584 BC). Hemiunu’s advanced architecture and robust construction made it 147 meters tall. It used 2.3 million limestone blocks, weighing a total of 6 million tons.
The Great Sphinx
The mythical statue of the honorable Pharaoh Khafre, the Great Sphinx, came into existence between 2558 BC and 2532 BC. It honors the legendary wisdom and everlasting might of the pharaoh.
The Valley Temple
The Valley Temple came into existence between 2600 BC and 2700 BC. Its sole purpose was to perform the mummification ritual on kings and queens of the 4th dynasty before they took their divine place in the great pyramids of Giza.

Al-Muizz Street
Al-Muizz Street is a highly preserved path that leads to the golden Islamic age. Dating to the 10th century, it is in the heart of Cairo, next to the Khan El Khalili bazaar. It offers a glimpse into the architecture and artistic decoration of that period.
Khan El Khalili Bazaar
The magical Khan El Khalili bazaar is a golden realm of treasures. Builders constructed it between 1382 and 1389 AD to be a hub of shopping. It offers an endless number of authentic and unique goods from the rich history and culture of ancient Egypt. Finally, we will transfer you to the Cairo bus station to catch your first-class bus back to El Gouna. Upon arrival, a representative will transfer you to your hotel.
