Tour Itinerary aswan and abu simbel from luxor:

Day 1: Pick up from Luxor and Tour the Highlights of Aswan:

It sounds like you have an exciting trip planned! If you need any help with travel tips or information about Luxor or Aswan, feel free to ask.  When you arrive, your knowledgeable tour guide will accompany you as you see the city’s top historical landmarks, which include the following:

High Dam at Aswan

The Aswan High Dam represents Egypt’s first foray into the modern industrial era. The history of the High Dam’s construction dates back to President Gamal Abd El Nasser’s time in office. Yes, during the Fatimid period, Al-Hakim Bi Amr Allah initiated several significant engineering projects, including the construction of dams. His rule was marked by efforts to improve irrigation and agricultural productivity in Egypt. If you’re interested in the specific dam’s history, its impact on the region, or related topics, just let me know! If you’d like more details about the dam or its historical significance, let me know!

The Unfinished Obelisk

It is a 3,500-year-old monument honoring Queen Hatshepsut’s rule during the 18th dynasty that resembles a sleeping giant granite edifice. The monument was abandoned after some fractures showed in the rocks. According to some historians, the obelisk would have been 42 meters long and 1,200 tonnes in weight if it had been completed.

Temple of Philae

One of the most stunning temples along the Nile is the Philae Temple, which Ptolemy II began and the Romans completed. The goddess Isis, who is a highly famous character and was regarded as the source of life since she raised Osiris to life and gave birth to Horus, is the subject of the Philae Temple.

After serving you a delicious lunch at a restaurant with a Nile view, we take you to the 5* hotel where you will spend the night.

Day 2: Tour the Abu Simbel Temples and Return to Luxor
Start your day with breakfast boxes before joining your personal Egyptologist. They will drive you in a private A/C car to explore:

Abu Simbel Temples

Ramses II built the Temples of Abu Simbel, one of the most impressive ancient structures in Egypt, in the country’s far southernmost region. It sounds like you’re describing the impressive Temple of Abu Simbel, which features two temples carved into sandstone cliffs by Ramses II. The main temple, dedicated to Ramses himself, has four colossal statues of the pharaoh at its entrance, each standing about 20 meters tall. Absolutely! The Temple of Abu Simbel was constructed to commemorate Ramses II’s military victories, particularly the Battle of Kadesh, and to assert his divine authority. The temple’s grand architecture and the colossal statues of the pharaoh were intended to impress both his subjects and any passing travelers. It also served as a powerful statement of the pharaoh’s connection to the gods. If you want to explore more about its significance or any other aspects, just let me know! If you need more information about the temples or their history, feel free to ask! Twice a year, the four sitting statues of Amun Ra, Ptah, Re Horakhty, and Ramses II may receive sunlight because of the temple’s location.

Your overnight journey from Luxor to Aswan and Abu Simbel sounds fantastic! After enjoying lunch at a reputable restaurant in Aswan, you’ll have the chance to relax before heading back to Luxor and transferring to your hotel. If you need suggestions for restaurants or things to do in either city, let me know!

Alexandria! Wow!

November 7, 2024

Muhammad is the best! He showed me a world I never thought possible! The tombs in Alexandria by far was my favorite! I never knew there was a place on earth that contained both Greek and Egyptian carvings in the same tombs! The history and culture of Egypt is so fascinating! I highly recommend booking with Muhammad!

AMAZING TOUR, SOLO TRAVELER.

October 12, 2024

I am a California woman who traveled to Egypt alone and thanks to Egypt Fun Tours I had a great time. Hani, Mohammed, Kamal and David (my driver) were very professional and very knowledgeable, I appreciate how respectful they were and how protective they were with me.

They show me everything I wanted to see in Cairo and nearby places like Saqqara, Memphis, etc. Thanks to them I had a great time in Egypt, they were so so helpful than on my second day they helped me to move from my hotel in Giza to the Steigenberger hotel in downtown Cairo.

The tour price is super good includes a guide (expert in the field) a driver, lunch and drinks, they took me to amazing places for lunch, the food was super super delicious, for a foodie like me that was a highlight. We went out fo the tourist traps and I got to see the Cairo that if you are in a bus tour you will never get to see.

This tour is personalized for each person depending of what you want to see and do, I absolutely love it.

I used WhatsApp to communicate with Hani and arranged all my tours, Hani was super super nice since the moment I contacted him and explained him what I wanted to do and see.

Hani and his group mesmerized me with the tours they put together, this is a memory I will keep for lifetime.

I had only good things to say about them and I highly recommend them.

I did visit the pyramids in Giza, downtown Cairo, new Cairo, several museums, Coptic Cairo and Muslim Cairo with them and I learned a lot from them, I felt like they were family to me and it was EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT.

If I go back to Egypt I will hire them again without hesitation.

David I take my hat off for you because I have NO IDEA how you can drive in crazy Cairo, thanks to all of you for making this lady’s dream a reality.
