Detailed itinerary of the 4 Days Cairo Comprehensive Tours

Day 1: Arrival Cairo- Cairo Museum:

Meet, welcome, and assist in Cairo APT. Drive to your hotel in Cairo.

Check-in at your hotel. You will have some rest, and then you can eat some food for lunch.

We start our tour from the hotel to Cairo Museum. Explore the treasures of the Cairo Museum with the collection of King Tut (more than 120,000 pieces from ancient Egypt).

Downtown Cairo.

Transfer back to your hotel.

Day 2: Islamic & Coptic Cairo:

Meet in the lobby of your hotel. Drive to Coptic Cairo. See the Ancient churches, the synagogue of Bn Izra, and the Coptic museum. Drive to Amr Ibn El-Aas Mosque(the oldest mosque in Egypt).

Explore the mosque of Amr Ibn El-Aas and take photos. Drive to a restaurant by the Nile to have our lunch. Lunchtime. Drive to the Citadel of Saladin.

Explore the Citadel, the Alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha, and the Gawhara palace of the same ruler, and see a panoramic view of Cairo from a high place. Drive to Ahmed Ibn Tulun mosque ( the third oldest mosque in Egypt.

Explore the mosque of Ahmed Ibn Tulun. Drive to Khan el-Khalili bazaar. See the mosque of Al-Azhar and the Khan El-Khalili bazaar. Drive back to your hotel.

Add-ons:

Nile Dinner Cruise: Nile Maxim, Nile Pharaoh, or Nile Crystal. These Nile cruises have two different times for a Nile dinner cruise with a belly dancer show, one from 20:00 to 22:00, and another from 22:00 to 24:00.

Transfer back to your hotel.

Day 3: Pyramids area Day Trip:

Meet in the lobby of the Marriott hotel. Drive to the pyramids Dahshur. See the pyramids of King Senefru the founder of the 4th dynasty, and get inside the red pyramid.

Transfer to Saqqara. Explore the Saqqara Step Pyramid complex of King Djoser, the Museum of Imhotep, and the tomb of Kagemni, and get inside the pyramid of King Titi to see the pyramid texts.

Transfer to Memphis. Explore the Museum of Memphis with the statues of King Ramses the Second and the sphinx of Hatshepsut. Drive to a restaurant for Lunch. Lunchtime.

Transfer to the Giza pyramids.

Explore the pyramids of Giza, a Panoramic view of the three pyramids for a photo, a Camel ride from the Panorama to the third pyramid, and see the sphinx with the valley temple of King Chephren.

Egyptian diner ( you will love it).

Transfer back to your hotel.

Day 4: Cairo-Departure:

After Breakfast. Pick you up from your hotel after checking out. Transfer to Cairo Airport for departure.

Day trip to Wadi el Hitan and Wadi el Rayan

We went on a full day trip to Wadi el Hitan and Wadi el Rayan with Mohamed (Hamada). Mohamed was a wonderful guide, always making sure we had plenty of water and enough to eat, and providing us with information about the area and Egypt more generally. He also gave us plenty of time to explore by ourselves. We would highly recommend Egypt Fun Tours and Mohamed.
