Dahabiya Nora: 4 Nights/5 Days Upriver Trip from Esna to Aswan
Discover the wonders of ancient Egypt through this magical Dahabiya Nora from Esna to Aswan for 4 Nights and 5 Days. Nora is a 19th-century Dahabiya replica that is as lovely as her name suggests — classically exquisite and inspired by the golden period of Nile exploration.
A large lounge and eating space may be found on the upper deck. The wooden sundeck is lit by antique lights and chandeliers, with elegantly embroidered cushions, deckchairs, a hammock, sofas, and loungers lining either side. On the shaded sundeck, it’s simple to unwind beneath her billowing white sails.
As you sail down the Nile, you can’t help but notice the splendor. The boat has a big salon that is filled with natural light thanks to the large louvered windows. The saloon is divided into two sections, one with comfy chairs and sofas and the other with a dining table and a library filled with Egypt and Nile-related publications.
Four luxury cabins and two terrace suites, each with an en-suite bathroom and all the amenities, are available. Two magnificent apartments with private balconies viewing the Nile are located at the back of the Dahabiya. The next four cabins are equally as wonderful, with huge French windows framing breathtaking Nile views.
The spacious ensuite bathrooms have antique tile flooring, a bathtub and shower, lots of towels, and Egyptian amenities.
4 luxurious cabins with stunning views from both inside and out
Cabins are individually and tastefully decorated, super-comfy, and provide a substantial amount of room for a pleasant stay while being romantically intimate. The four en-suite accommodations are spacious and comfortable.
All are similarly lovely, with louvered French windows that provide wonderful views of the Nile. There are two twin beds or one king-sized bed in each cabin. In each, there’s also enough for an additional bed and a baby crib.
With exquisite antique furniture, Egyptian carpets, flowery wallpaper, and handcrafted tapestries, these cabins are classically Egyptian in every aspect.
2 Panoramic Suites with their own terraces and sleeping beauty
Two big suites are located at the end of the central hallway, each with French windows and private wide balconies with panoramic views of the river. Both feature antique four-post beds and are extremely charming. Every apartment is large enough to accommodate an extra bed if necessary.
There’s a lingering feeling of vintage charm and a homey environment. White walls, parquet flooring, antique furniture, vintage wallpapers, oil paintings, and handmade tapestries are used to keep the décor simple and stunning. Baths and showers are included in the ensuite bathrooms, which are lined with exquisite handmade Egyptian tiles. Old-fashioned Egyptian amenities, bathrobes, and hair dryers are given as a courtesy.
