Tour Itinerary

Detailed itinerary of the 8 Days Honeymoon Holiday Exploring Egypt

Day 1: Entry into Egypt: Your Egypt honeymoon experience will start on the first day when you land in Cairo and are greeted by a representative from “Egypt Fun Tours,” who will assist you with passport control procedures, luggage identification, and carrying. You will then be driven in a private air-conditioned car to your 5* hotel reservation for check-in, and in the evening, your tour will start with a Dinner Cruise on the heavenly Nile as you can unwind and take in the sights.

Day 2: Celebrate Your Love With the Pyramids of Egypt: After enjoying your breakfast and leaving the hotel, you will start your second day by seeing the timeless treasures of ancient Egypt with your own tour guide, beginning with:

Egyptian Pyramids in Giza

The Giza Pyramids Complex has been around for more than 4,000 years and serves as a showcase for the greatness of ancient Egyptian culture. The complex consists of the big sphinx, the valley temple’s eternal preservation chamber, six smaller pyramids, and three large pyramids.

The Great Pyramid

Being the last of the seven wonders of the ancient world to still remain intact, the Great Pyramid of Khufu is considered to be a living miracle. It was created more than 4500 years ago, making it the oldest enigma in the whole globe. With a workforce of over 100,000 free skilled laborers, it was built in 2580 BC over a 20-year period using 2,300,000 pieces of 2.5-ton limestone.

The Great Sphinx

The Sphinx is a huge, immortal protector that resembles a legendary animal with a lion’s body and a man’s head, which is said to symbolize King Khafre as a representation of strength and knowledge.

The Valley Temple

The Valley Temple, which was built within the complex of the Old Kingdom of Egypt (2686-2134 BC) and later became one of the best-preserved archaeological sites of the ancient Egyptian civilization and the source of a wealth of knowledge about ancient Egyptian mummification rituals, is the hub of the mummification process. The valley is entirely composed of limestone and granite, and it has special King Khafra diorite sculptures.

Before traveling to see it: lunch will be provided in a neighborhood eatery in Cairo.

Step Pyramid of Saqqara

The Saqqara Step Pyramid is a unique structure that is regarded as ushering in the heyday of Egyptian pyramid building. It was constructed by Pharaoh Djoser’s wisecracking vizier Imhotep. It has a distinctive form with six stairs, is 62 meters tall, and is encircled by a very large complex with enchanted decorations and regal ceremonial buildings.

Memphis City

King Menes established Memphis city as the nation’s capital in order to unite the two nations. It is renowned for being a land of beauty and endurance, but not against the test of time since it was the birthplace of the creator deity Ptah. It contains relics from some of the most important figures in ancient Egypt, including King Ramses II, and magnificent temples dedicated to gods like Aton and Hathor, going back more than 4,000 years.

You will depart from Cairo for Aswan at the end of the day, and when you arrive, you will check into your hotel reservation for the night.

Day 3: Examine the Amazing History of Abu Simbel: You will check out of the hotel early on the third day, eat breakfast, and then continue your Egypt honeymoon vacation by traveling to:

Temples in Abu Simbel

Since Ramses II built the two magnificent Abu Simbel temples, they have served as the pinnacle of Egypt’s majesty and allure as the country’s southern border’s protector (1279-1213 BCE). “Temple of Ramesses, cherished by Amun” was the name of the temple. The two temples at Abu Simbel are for Ramsess II and Nefertari, respectively. On February 22 and October 22 of every year, the sun festival is held there when the sun shines on the faces of the four seated statues of Ramsess II, Ptah (the God of Creation), Amun (The Creator God), and Ra (The Sun God). In the middle of the 1960s, UNESCO oversaw the most difficult archaeological rescue mission in history, which included the temple. After that, you’ll board a train for Luxor, where you’ll check into your hotel room.

You will be transported to the railway station to board a first-class train to Luxor after you return to Aswan, where your lunch will be provided. Check into a five-star hotel for the night when you arrive.

Day 4: Explore the ancient treasures with your life partner while walking hand in hand: On your fourth day, you will first have a lovely breakfast before continuing your Egyptian honeymoon by exploring:

Temple of Karnak

The Karnak Temple, also known as Ipet-isu The Most Selected of Places, and Pr-Imn House of Amon is where the ancient Egyptians communicated with the heavens. It is more than 4000 years old and was once the largest religious man-made structure in the world. For more than 1500 years, it served as the center of worship for the entire ancient Egyptian kingdom, honoring a variety of gods, including the great Osiris, Montu, Ptah, and I

Temple of Hatshepsut

The Hatshepsut Temple, also known as Djoser-Djeseru (Holy of Holies), is a genuine representation of ancient Luxor. It displays the allure and grandeur of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most successful monarchs in the annals of ancient Egypt. It took 15 years to complete the temple, which was started in 1479 BC. The temple’s design is based on the idea of Egypt’s New Kingdom’s classical architecture, and it has some of the most alluring and intriguing sculptures, decorations, and antiques on the whole globe.

The Kings’ Valley

It has served as the final resting place for the greatest kings and queens of the new kingdom (1570-1070 BC) as it contains 63 tombs filled with various treasures, artifacts, statues, hypnotically beautiful decorations, and the remains of pharaohs like Rameses (I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, IX, X), Amenhotep I, Hatshepsut, and the boy king Tut

Memnon’s Colossi

The two enormous stones of quartzite sandstone that make up the Colossi of Memnon, the huge guards of Luxor, rise at a height of 18 meters (60 feet), weigh 720 tonnes each and are shaped like Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386-1350). A significant earthquake that occurred in 27 BC caused damage to the colossi, which were later reconstructed in 199 AD.

Lunch is given at an oriental restaurant, followed by a journey to Hurghada in a private A/C vehicle. After arriving, go to a 5-star hotel to settle in for the night.

Day 5: Go on a Romantic Snorkeling Adventure in the Red Sea: On your fifth day, after enjoying your breakfast, you’ll meet your private driving teacher to start your thrilling, adventurous activities, such as snorkeling, where you’ll get to see the amazing underwater marine life of Hurghada with your life companion and learn about this ecosystem’s beauties.

Day 6: Set Out on a Scenic Desert Adventure: On day six, you will be at Hurghada Red Sea, where you will have breakfast, go on a fantastic amazing Safari by quad or camel, and then have a delectable B.B.Q dinner before going back to your hotel to spend the night.

Day 7: Observer The Past of Ancient Cairo: Your epic honeymoon trip will continue on day seven when you return to Cairo and check into your hotel reservation. Here, you may explore all the wonderful Cairo tourist sites, including:

The Egyptian Museum

One of the largest museums in the world, the Egyptian Museum is home to several magnificent ancient Egyptian antiquities and monuments that span more than 4,000 years of Egypt’s storied history. Over 120,000 unique artifacts, including sculptures, jewelry, and funerary items, are housed inside the two levels of the museums. These relics are constructed from expensive materials like gold and valuable stones as well as more affordable ones like wood or stone.

Go out for a nice lunch date at a neighborhood restaurant in Cairo before concluding your day tour with a trip to:

The Hanging Church

The holy Church of the Virgin Mary, also known as The Hanging Church, was constructed in the fifth century AD on the southern wall of a Roman fortification named Babylon. The church, one of the most well-known Coptic structures in Egypt, was the patriarch of the Coptic people’s residence. The church stands 30 feet tall and looms above Cairo. The interior and exterior of the hanging church are stunning examples of creative architecture from the 7th to the 13th centuries.

Mosque of Amr Ibn Al Aas

In the year 641 AD, Amr Ibn Al-Aas Mosque was the continent of Africa’s first mosque. One of Egypt’s most significant & well-known Islamic attractions, the mosque is still a functioning place of worship. Throughout the seventh century, it underwent several reconstructions, and improvements are still being made. The mosque has undergone several reconstructions, making it serve as a tangible illustration of the development of Islamic architecture through time.

Synagogue of Ben Ezra

The Ben Ezra Synagogue is a noteworthy structure that dates to the 19th century. Originally a church, it became a synagogue in 882 AD. Many people think it formerly contained an original copy of the Old Testament. The synagogue is still very much intact and has amazing patterns and decorations. For many years, up until the 1950s, this location served as the center of Jewish worship.

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) is a heavenly gateway leading to the immeasurable riches of Egypt that stretch back more than 4000 years and were discovered in ancient Cairo, which served as Egypt’s first capital at the dawn of the Islamic era, on the holy site of El Fustat.

Khan El Khalili Bazaar

The Khan El Khalili Bazaar serves as a reminder of the magnificence of pre-Islamic Egypt, the Middle East’s “golden brick road.” The street was established in 970 AD, is still bustling today, and has everything a traveler could possibly need. The street itself is flanked by historic cafés and stores from various eras that have stunning Islamic architecture and décor.

After that, you’ll go back to the hotel to spend the night.

Day trip to Wadi el Hitan and Wadi el Rayan

July 9, 2024

We went on a full day trip to Wadi el Hitan and Wadi el Rayan with Mohamed (Hamada). Mohamed was a wonderful guide, always making sure we had plenty of water and enough to eat, and providing us with information about the area and Egypt more generally. He also gave us plenty of time to explore by ourselves. We would highly recommend Egypt Fun Tours and Mohamed.
