Eyaru Dahabiya: 7 nights cruise Voyage from Luxor to Aswan

Discover the wonders of ancient Egypt in Luxor and Aswan in luxury and style through the Eyaru Dahabiya for 7 Nights and 8 Days. The term “Eyaru” is an old heliographic name that represents the ancient Egyptians’ concept of heaven, the afterlife for ancient Egyptians who reside in the Eyaru fields.

During the building, Eyaru’s designer ensured that each cabin is unique, with a unique look, such as the colors of the cabins, yet all are connected to the meaning of the word Eyaru. Papyrus plants, lotus flowers, palms, and banana trees appear in the inscriptions behind the bed, bedspread coverings, and pillows, representing ancient Egyptian culture and the landscape of southern Egypt. Eyaru is created entirely by hand and contains no plastic.

Experience the Spirit of “Eyaru”

When we designed Eyaru, we drew inspiration from the concept of “Eyaru,” a place of paradise. We tailored everything on board to this idea, aiming to showcase and help you fully enjoy the real Egyptian culture of the region. The Egyptian spirit is central to Eyaru, and you will find yourself immersed in Egyptian culture and notice its soul in everything around you. We handcraft every item on Eyaru, from the plates to the carpets.

Unique Accommodations and Itineraries

Each of our chambers has a unique design inspired by the “Eyaru” concept from ancient Egypt, so you can enjoy an Egyptian atmosphere in every room. We will treat you to the most exquisite hospitality while you discover new locations in Egypt through innovative routes. You will visit several spectacular sights along the Nile between Luxor and Aswan. These include El Hagz Island, Bashaw Village, and Gebel El-Silsila, which are exclusive to Dahabiyas and not available on major cruises.

Immerse Yourself in Local Life

Not only will you be able to tour the wonderful sights between Luxor and Aswan, but you will also get to experience true local life in each city and explore their marketplaces. In Bashaw Village, you will stay at the home of a local and interact with them and their family. You will spend a day in the life of an Egyptian and witness how they live.

Authentic Egyptian Cuisine

The Egyptian vibe also extends to your meals on Eyaru. During your stay, all of your meals will be traditional Egyptian cuisine. You can even buy fresh ingredients for your supper that night or fish to cook on the sundeck during your trips to the local shops! You will have the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the Egyptian lifestyle. We also offer live cooking sessions for your supper, so you can learn local dishes to try when you return home.

Year-Round Comfort and Serenity

Eyaru’s most prominent feature is its pergola, which allows you to enjoy the Dahabiya all year. A section of the sundeck is glassed off, so you do not need to stay indoors during the winter and miss out on the Nile’s beautiful scenery. This feature makes Eyaru one of the few Dahabiyas that sail between Luxor and Aswan throughout the year.

Eyaru has no motors; a tugboat tows it from a distance. As a result, you will not hear or feel any noise during your journey. For the first time on the Nile, the Eyaru crew sleeps on board the tugboat at night, giving you complete privacy.
