Join us for an unforgettable El-Fayoum Oasis camping trip from Cairo. This overnight El-Fayoum Oasis camping trip highlights the stunning natural beauty of El-Fayoum’s deserts and lakes. Our desert safari takes you to the breathtaking Wadi Al Hitan (Whales Valley) National Protectorate, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as ancient monuments like Qasr El Sagha and Dima Al-Sebaa. You’ll also discover the Petrified Forest, Watermelon Valley, and visit Tunis Village and Lake Qarun on this incredible adventure.

Day 1: Cairo to El-Fayoum Oasis (North of Lake Qarun attractions)

Pick-up from your Cairo hotel is at 7:30 am.

Start our trip from Cairo by our 4WD to the north of Lake Qarun to see and explore the Petrified Forest, the oldest commerce road in the history of humanity, the colored mountain, & Qasr Al-Sagha. Picnic lunch. After lunch, we continued our tours to Dima Al-Sebaa (an ancient Greek-Roman city) and the Watermelon Valley, and then we proceeded to Wadi El-Rayan lakes and waterfalls. Continue our trip to Wadi El-Hitan. Dinner (Chicken, rice, vegetables, etc). Overnight at the camp (camping).

Day 2:  Wadi El-Hitan, Magic Lake, Tunis Village, Mudawara Mountain, & Sandboarding:

After breakfast at the campsite, start your tours to the 2 museums of Wadi El-Hitan to see the fossilized whales and the museum of climate change. Continue the trip to the Mudawara mountain, the magic lake, and Tunis village (visit Madam Eveline pottery school). (The opportunity to have lunch in Tunis village is optional.) Sandboarding on the dunes around the area. Transfer back to Cairo to your hotel and drop off.
