Day 1: Fly from Port Ghalib to Cairo and explore the ancient ruins:
Early in the morning, our employee will pick you up from your Port Ghalib hotel and drive you to Hurghada Airport to catch your flight to Cairo, where you will begin your two-day tour to Cairo and Luxor from Port Ghalib with a visit to:
Giza Pyramids Complex:
For over 4,500 years, Egypt has been home to some of the largest monuments in human history, including three massive pyramids, the Sphinx, the Valley Temple, and six smaller pyramids.
The Great Pyramid of Giza:
Beneath the horizon of heaven stands an enormous ladder built from 2.3 million blocks of limestone in 2580 BC, reaching a total height of 147 m. This structure served as the ultimate resting place for Pharaoh Khufu and features an unusual inner architecture. Another reason to see the Great Pyramid of Giza is that it is the only one of the ancient world’s seven marvels that have survived.
Sphinx of Giza:
The Sphinx, the world’s oldest statue, stands 73 meters tall and 19 meters wide, representing King Khafre with the head of a man and the body of a seated lion.
The Valley Temple:
One of ancient Egypt’s most important secrets was the mummification process, which preserved the bodies of Pharaohs in the granite mortuary temples of the valley.
Lunch will be served at a restaurant with a beautiful view of the Pyramids before heading to:
The Egyptian Museum:
The Ancient Egyptian Civilization’s home of art and beauty, with over 150,000 stunning objects made of stone and precious materials spanning 5000 years, demonstrates the ancient Egyptians’ degree of exquisite craftsmanship and dedication. The treasures of King Tutankhamun are the most well-known in the museum. In the evening, you will travel to Cairo airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, our staff will transfer you to your 5-star hotel for the night.
Day 2: Luxor Tourist Attractions Tour: After breakfast, you will be escorted by your tour guide and private A.C car to complete your two-day trip of Cairo and Luxor from Port Ghalib, visiting:
The Kings’ Valley: The immortal rulers of Egypt’s New Kingdom (1570-1544 BC), including the Ramses Dynasty and Tutankhamun, resided in grand tombs adorned with enchanting treasures and stunning wall murals, many of which remain well-preserved.
Temple of Hatshepsut:
If you’re interested in ancient Egyptian architecture and the heritage of Queen Hatshepsut (1479-1458 BC), the amazing sight of the Hatshepsut temple will be well worth your time.
Memnon’s Colossi: The mythical Colossi of Memnon is a one-of-a-kind item constructed by Amenhotep III (1386-1350) in Cairo to stand in front of his funeral temple but afterward relocated to Luxor. It stands 18 meters (60 feet) tall and is said to resemble him.
Lunch will be served on an island via a boat journey, and you and your private tour guide will then go to:
A visit to the Karnak Temple, famous for its grand structures dedicated to gods like Amun and Isis, is incomplete without exploring its interior. Your two-day journey from Port Ghalib to Cairo and Luxor will conclude with a smooth, air-conditioned ride back to your hotel.
