Day 1: Fly from Port Ghalib to Cairo and explore the ancient ruins: Early in the morning, our employee will pick you up from your Port Ghalib hotel and drive you to Hurghada Airport to catch your flight to Cairo, where you will begin your two-day tour to Cairo and Luxor from Port Ghalib with a visit to:
Giza Pyramids Complex: For more than 4500 years, Egypt has housed the biggest monuments ever created in human history, including three huge pyramids, the sphinx, the valley temple, and six minor pyramids.
The Great Pyramid of Giza: An enormous ladder built from 2.3 million blocks of limestone in 2580 BC with a total height of 147 m that served as the ultimate resting place of pharaoh Khufu and features an unusual inner architecture may be found beneath the horizon of heaven. Another reason to see the Great Pyramid of Giza is that it is the only one of the ancient world’s seven marvels that have survived.
Sphinx of Giza: You will come face to face with the Sphinx, the world’s oldest figure, which is 73 meters (240 feet) tall and 19 meters (66 feet) broad and is carved to represent King Khafre and the fabled creature with the head and face of a man and the body of a seated lion.
The Valley Temple: One of ancient Egypt’s most important secrets was the mummification process, which was employed to preserve the bodies of Pharaohs inside the valley temple’s granite mortuary temple.
Lunch will be served at a restaurant with a beautiful view of the Pyramids before heading to:
The Egyptian Museum: The Ancient Egyptian Civilization’s home of art and beauty, with over 150,000 stunning objects made of stone and precious materials spanning 5000 years, demonstrates the ancient Egyptians’ degree of exquisite craftsmanship and dedication. The treasures of King Tutankhamun are the most well-known in the museum. In the evening, you will be transported to Cairo airport, where you will travel to Luxor; upon arrival, our staff will be ready to transfer you to your 5* hotel for the night.
Day 2: Luxor Tourist Attractions Tour: After breakfast, you will be escorted by your tour guide and private A.C car to complete your two-day trip of Cairo and Luxor from Port Ghalib, visiting:
The Kings’ Valley: The immortal rulers of Egypt’s New Kingdom (1570-1544 BC), such as the Ramses Dynasty and Tutankhamun, lived in epic tombs filled with enchanted treasures and dazzling artistic wall murals and decorations that are still in good condition.
Temple of Hatshepsut: If you’re interested in ancient Egyptian architecture and the heritage of Queen Hatshepsut (1479-1458 BC), the amazing sight of the Hatshepsut temple will be well worth your time.
Memnon’s Colossi: The mythical Colossi of Memnon is a one-of-a-kind item constructed by Amenhotep III (1386-1350) in Cairo to stand in front of his funeral temple but afterward relocated to Luxor. It stands 18 meters (60 feet) tall and is said to resemble him.
Lunch will be served on an island via a boat journey, and you and your private tour guide will then go to:
Karnak Temple: A visit to the one and only Karnak temple, home to the most fascinating collection of monuments ever erected more than 3500 years ago to commemorate the gods of ancient Egypt such as Amun, Ptah, Mut, Isis, Khnsou, and others, is not complete without a tour within.
Your two-day excursion to Cairo and Luxor from Port Ghalib will come to a close with an A.C. car transfer to your hotel in Port Ghalib. Please keep in mind that you can change any element of your itinerary at any moment by contacting us.
