Pick up from any hotel within Cairo or Giza. Tour tour to islamic cairo and gayer anderson museum of Gayer Anderson Museum, Islamic medieval Cairo, Ibn Tulun mosque, Zwaila gate of AlQahira, the mosque of Al-Moaiad Shaikh, Ghori complex, Khan El-Khalili tourist bazaar, and El-Moez street. Transfer back to Cairo/Giza hotel.

After breakfast at your hotel, pick you up and start our tour of Islamic medieval Cairo. Tour Ibn Tulun Mosque, & Gayer Anderson Museum. Egyptian Lunch. After lunch, continue our guided tour to Islamic medieval Cairo to see the fortified gates of the old city, the northern old wall, the old mosques, & walk-in El-Muez street.

Proceed to the Khan El-Khalili tourist bazaar for a quick shopping tour if interested. Continue our walking tour to El-Ghoriya and visit Al-Moaiad Shaikh mosque and see the Zwailia gate of the old town, continue walking to Al-Khayamia (tentmakers) and enjoy a well-worth cup of Egyptian tea at a local coffee shop. We then walk back toward the northern wall, take our private air-conditioned car, and go back to the hotel.

Ibn Tulun Mosque & Gayer Anderson Museum

In addition to being the third oldest mosque in Egypt, Ibn Tulun is notable for its impressive size. Gayer Anderson was the private physician of King Farouk; his house (which belongs to the government) was switched into a museum.
