The Kom Ombo Temple is located in the town of Kom Ombo, which is about 50 km from Aswan, and is one of the most unusual temples in Egypt. The builders designed Kom Ombo as a double temple, dedicating it to two gods—Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god.
